Coalition CB and AE

Do I have to have a claim on the province of the coalition war target to get the 90% AE discount? I did a coalition war on Utrecht without any claim on their OPM province and now I can not annex it without getting +11,3 AE..

The tooltip for coalition CB says you will only get 10% AE (90% discount on normal AE).

It will list which provinces the adjust costs apply to. Can you reload an old save and check the list?

No save to reload but there was no provinces in the list i think, good point i will check if it changes with a claim on the province.

If you are in a coalition against someone and at war with them(regardless of CB used) you can only take cores and claims from them. At least that is the way it worked before AOW. I haven't seen anything indicating that's been changed. I never form or join coalitions for that very reason.

How does an OPM Utretch have a coalition against it? You need 3 members in a coalition to receive the CB, did they just get caught fabricating claims 2-3 times?

As far as AE, the wiki says demand provinces is a legitimate demand for coalition CB but probably because taking the capital of an OPM is full annexation which is a separate demand from demand provinces?

They took like 3 provinces from Burgundy but I returned them to Burgundy in an earlier war so I would get them if the inheritance event happened and it did
