CO should make "The Cims"

Cities: Skylines saved us from the disaster that was Sim City 2013. It has improved to the point where I could call it the best City builder money can buy.

EA is a scummy business that has effectively killed Maxis the makers of Sim City and the Sims. I love both franchises. The Sims 4 is a similar case to SC13.

Clossal Order should deliver us again from EA and make a life simulator. Don't call it the Cims really as that will cause a lawsuit. But give it the Cities aesthetic and flare. They could easily be a new Maxis.

And there should be an easter egg in it so that a Cim family could discover its lost royal heritage and re-form the Byzantine Empire by conquering neighboring households.

Plz yes. I still enjoy Sims 3 (heavily modded), but I think CC could reimagine something better in the time it takes me to start the game and load a save.

It's of course up to CC, they might have 0 intrest in making a game like that. But if they did and it is to Sims 4 what Cities Skylines is to that latest failed Sim City... I for one would throw my money at them.

Due to the popularity of Cities: Skylines, I think this would be an excellent idea for a life simulation game. But I would much prefer they sticked with city building. I just see The Sims games as extremely tedious.

Honestly, I'd rather they build out a series of scenarios that basically provide labs for traffic management college courses.

I definitely agree that Cities Skylines is one of if not the best city builder games out there. It's deeper than i expected, plus i'm sure this game invokes time travelling every time i play. I mean i look at the clock one minute go back to play then 10 minutes later i check the time and it's actually 3 hours later. Does everything move faster outside the Skylines time dilation field for everyone else?

Anyway, if CO made a sims game as good and deep as cities i'd buy it.
