CN/Overlord Annexation

England has five colonial nations. England itself has 75 warscore cost. If I demand CNs in the peace deal it would take more than 100 WS. If I demand non colonial English provinces only I can full annex England and inherit their CNs in one peace deal. The problem is unfinished colonies count as part of England's, and since islands that are not part of colonial regions also show as giving 0 OE, I have to either have all maps, which I don't, and look around the world to find every island and unfinished colony that belongs to England, or click through every province in the peace deal until I find some magical combination of mainland + 0 OE provinces that lets me full annex them. Unless I'm missing something there's no other way. I can't see all of California so I don't know which provinces are not fully colonized.

You can tell by the war score. The colonies will have only 1-2%, regular CN provinces will have more (though maybe this doesn't work so late in the game). Try organsising the provinces by warscore and look for a little jump after the first 2-3.

If your question is how to find out if there's an unfinished colony in TI California? If you click the 0% OE provinces/colonies it will jump to the location of the colony. Or check the names in the list against the https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Geographical_list_of_provinces.

That's not answering his question so far.

1. The vast majority of new world colonies give 0 OE, so that is not a useful filtering method.
2. Since province in question is an unfinished colony or random spot for overlord, it's going to show up as 0-1% war score like most CN provinces.

There is no way to sort by participant, and having done this many times I have yet to find a good way to separate the provinces that are owned by overlord. I'd love to hear a trick too.

For now, the least painful way I have found is some combination of:

1. Scout out new world (steal maps or buy with prestige if you don't have exploration).
2. Visually hunt for provinces that are unfinished colonies, they're a different color from CNs.
3. Mouse over each province after that and click on anything that isn't North or South America.
4. Confirm the peace deal says "we demand their full annexation" before sending it.

Even so, you have to look for crap like Falklands, South Georgia, Galapagos but it takes some hassle off away.
