Does anyone know how to turn the clouds off? They are starting to bug me.

I've tried draw_sky = no, and left shadows at the default of no. But still the sun won't shine.

No, clouds. Italy is in sunshine, but there are clouds floating from the NE over Britain and Scandanavia. I can hardly see Norway!

Aye that's called Fog of War, Everythings darkened out because its further away from any of your troops or holdings, Lets face it, A commander can't see whats going on in norway if he's leading armies in france.

Aren't there actual clouds as well? FoW is slightly darker map, no units or information. OTOH I'm fine with the clouds myself, I've even looked at them from both sides, now.

I don't like it, because it's slowing down my computer. Hope we get an option to turn it off when the game comes out.

My bad - it is fog of war. But not your usual complete fog of war. I was confused because I could see sieges going on in the darkened areas. So, I could tell that Harald and William had invaded England - even though I couldn't see their armies.

Oooh it actually is.. I haven't noticed that, I'll need to check it out sometime.
