I was doing my Sunset Invasion achievement just now. The game crashed suddenly (I've been having this problem occasionally but always, usually this happens when I'm clicking on a trade node to see the chart). I tried to get myself a drink, but I hit the power plug of my computer when I was leaving my seat... The computer shut down while Steam was syncing the game files. After I restarted the computer, I found Steam unable to sync the cloud files, saying "Steam was unable to sync your files for Europa Universalis IV with the Steam Cloud".
I can't get over this because the cloud files only update when the game is not running. No matter how I modify the local save file (by using the game to run the save, or create a new save with the same name in game, or just delete the local file), Steam refuses to update my file (and only this file). Once I modified this save file, Steam will let me choose between "Upload local file" and "Download from Cloud" to sync, but I get the same error message no matter which one I choose..."Steam was unable to sync your files for Europa Universalis IV with the Steam Cloud".
I had almost done the achievement when I got this problem... Is there any way to rescue this file? Or, at least, can I have a way to remove this problematic cloud save and get rid of the error message that appears every time I start the game?
