Cloud save files strikes again....

Yea probably another post regarding a ironman cloud save. Just really pissed now and hoping maybe someone knows a solution...

Wanted to play my kanem bornu campaign today and guess what when i tried to load it, it was corrupted... I was already in the year 1770 and was preparing to begin one of the last big war, against my archenemy Ethiopia who was allied withthe ottomans, to conquer almost all of Africa. So i really hope someone got a solution to continue playing this game??

Only advice I can give you is to save ironman games locally, when starting a new game.

Yeea I found a solution! Maybe it works for u too fishmanbr,

-Go to C:\steam\userdata\(userID)\236850\remote\save games\ name save file

-Xhange the save file name it to .zip instead of the .eu4.

-Extract it in the folder C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\save games,

This fixed it for me, found this solution somewhere on the steam forum.

Does this fix still work? - I've been having this problem again whenever I get past 1650 pretty much.

I the above tried it but it loaded up a 1444 start rather than my game.

I have all mods. Any help?
