The excitement builds as the close-up cam shows you a vague red/orange mech shape move towards you from behind cover and resolve itself into a a thundering powerful mech recognisable by its now viewable model. Great stuff !
However this effect is now spoiled if it fires at the end of the turn as you have no nail biting moment hoping it doesn't target your already damaged Jenner. You simply don't know which mech it has fired at until after all of the damage is done then eventually it pans back far enough to see your now damaged mech.
Can't the camera pan back to a panoramic or 3rd person view showing your own mechs before the shots are fired ? Then we can sit and grip the mouse and our lucky dice hoping no crit is scored. far more exciting than "Well I guess I'll find out which one it hit or destroyed in a moment when the camera catches up ?"
