Clicking "Social profile" button does nothing

What I'd expect to happen: a window opens, either in game, on steam, or in my default browser, taking me to my social profile.

What happens: a sound plays as though I've clicked it, and, the button changes as though I've pressed it; but nothing else happens.

unsure if bug or tech report; putting here for now.

update: since the mid-day game update; the button now prompts me to create an account name; but so far that is all.

That was on the steam version, the paradox launcher version does work for that button
