So you cant force a species to clese its own homeworld in war - which kinda makes sense because any species would rather fight to the last man then exterminate themselves.
EDIT: sorry unless they are the despicable neutral or the planet of easily frightened people
In my 2nd utopia game i decided to ensure that all my planets are terraformed to suit my species needs so my first two wars the war goals where to cleanse the extra planets and if cede home worlds.
The clensed planets can be terraformed but inhabited planets can not.
My species can not live on the new homeworld and i set to displace but the last pop alive just says migrating 20 months (it just stays there)
Is there another way to depopulate? what i have done instead to work around it is gift the homeworld to another empire and declare war and force them to clense for me but i think its a little bit too much messing around to get the desired result.
Should there be a way to depopulate a world you own but your primary species can not live on?
Should it be possible to terraform an inhabited world with the understanding that pops on it will die off if they can not live on the new biosphere - like when you take over a hive mind planet - oh that happens as well btw... i took a hive mind homeworld - my species cant live on it but the last hive mind pop is just frozen with the purge symbol but wont die off
FYI its just my core worlds i want the same type. im not on some crazy quest to terraform every planet int he galaxy i just want a nice habitability happiness boost for my loyal citizens who get to live in the inner colonies
