Okay. I mean no disrespect, but I am getting frustrated with this game. I dont like devoting my time to a game with random times. Im sorry, but 9 hrs is not enough time in advance. I was asleep when that was posted and I didnt have a chance to check it until a few minutes ago. Now game starts in a few hours and I have dinner plans.

I am not going to play perm in a group that votes on times every week. This is why people invented GMs. Someone has to set the standards and enforce them. The minor cost of freedom is miniscule in comparison to the stability having a strong GM and fixed times. Someone has to make decisions, voting on everything is time consuming and someone is going to be left out anyway.

So pick a regular time and stick with it. If I can make the time, I will sign on. But I will not play with random times. My time is too precious to lose sessions because the group voted to play when I couldnt. I dont complain when it is my fault that I miss a session, but because the group voted and I wasnt around? Sorry, no dice.

I am even willing to take over as GM, but I would enforce my best times; Sunday Nights 8:00 EST to 12:00 EST. People who cant make it lose out. Otherwise, someone needs to step up (Javi or Adam I presume) and enforce some order. Because this chaos is just not working for me.

That is the point Pibe. Without a GM, it is just all discussing. Didnt you watch Star Wars Episode 2? This was Anakin's justification for getting rid of the Senate. Sorry, this made me think of that scene.

Who is going to be GM and who is going to set times? If you dont like my times, dont make me GM

You need to re-read post #81, Pibe. I dont care if the majority can play tonight. I dont want to play in a game where the majority just votes when to play and when not to on a weekly basis. I want a stable game that plays at regular times every week. If you cant do that, dont consider me a part of this game anymore.

I believe that I made the same point about participation as ryoken is making. A regular time allows regular people to make plans for it. Playing on a catch-as-catch-can basis is only viable for those who have no life.

I'm with ryo and DSY here as well, most sessions I play in i arrange a babysitter or my son is in school. Random sessions means I can't do this and so i can't play.

Please just pick a time for all sessions

Ryo and LE: sorry about it, you're right about times and we wasted a lot of time just to set them. we realized we had the option to play today and took the chance since everyone was here except you two.

too bad you leave, understandible. However i ask you nicely to make some sacrifice. We euros don't like Usa times either and we usually play in those times to please you all. if you can't convince the ppl around yourselves you would appreciate to spend some time on this (in dinner time or not a single day per week), neither to change a bit your cultural costumes, i won't see any sacrifice at all and our relationship here won't be reciprocal at all.

So be it.
