Tem my problem with all this is we only played one session and none of you want to consider a restart so we can get more player's in.In fact all of you are too selfish to consider restarting because none of you want to give up your gain's.

I believe that I've already stated that, although I'm not in favor of a restart, its something that I would go for if the crew wanted it.

I am tired of the same set up with 8 player's we've always had. For once I want a setup where we will have different alliance's, more interaction and less predicatability. I am tired of the same old shit.

Which is cool, I also want more players. Right now, we are 8. Since the thread was posted, we've had applications from Sterkarm, Velzevul(BGW), JTU & RedPhoenix, whereas Drake said he wouldn't join if there wasn't a reset. Specter also indicated interest for a moment. We are 8. Adding Sterkarm, Velzevul, JTU & RedPhoenix would bring us to 12 players. 13 if we did the reset. Are we really able to sustain such a group? I've tried such a large setting in Imperial Europe 3, and as you know, it crashed because everyone lagged like hell, and we've had to drop to a small players, creating many in-game problems(like the Italian power vacuum, which resulted in our alliance vs Ottomans).

Now, without the reset, we should be able to sustain 11 players assuming Dutch, Brandenburg and Poland. I have a small question for you Duma. Do you want 13 players in the game?

If yes, do you really think we can sustain it? I've tried and failed, with Belisarius, King John, Specter, Gulli and others as hosts. Every session was laggy. Can Drew really sustain that many players without issue?

If you wanted more players, but not necessarily 13, then why can't we go ahead with the current savegame? Poland is viable. Brandenburg is viable. And dutch is viable once edited in.

That's my point Duma. If we can get 13 players, and we can sustain it, I'll support the reset. If we can't sustain 13 players, or can't get them, then I believe we should go on. no?

Seriously Duma, don't leave us. I'm sorry if my post offended you, but having one of my netfriend threaten to quit a game over a minor matter really pisses me off.

For the record Drake, I've joined half of my games after they started, even taking a nation over after a century or three of being played by someone else or AIed, and believe it or not, I had fun. But anyway.

I'm with Beli. I suspected he was having problems. the rest just bitched of quitting, I may thx Duma and Red Phoenix for the unstability, but with Beli in again i assume the crisis is over.

Great, although there's still the schedule issue for me. Could we play this only on thursday nights? Friday nights are almost impossible for me. If we could start at 11 instead of 12, would be nice too, although if not everybody can at 11, I can live with the usual starttime.
