Clarifiy EULA Rules about modding.

Can you please clarify the part about "rules", what rules do you mean, and what about changing these rules?

iii. Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, derive source code from, disassemble, decompile or create derivative works based on the Software Product or any accompanying materials. Notwithstanding the foregoing, You shall have the right, at your own risk, to adjust and rearrange the content of the Software Product while using the Game on your Unit for your own non-commercial entertainment purposes only, if these adjustments are expressly allowed and included in the rules of the Game, and subject at all times to this EULA. You acknowledge that Paradox shall not be liable for any such readjustment performed by You in the Game.

Does that mean you only want to allow "assets"/"buildings" but want disallow any advance modding?
And externally you aren't allow to change CSL in any way, only when running? :huh:

The part you're referring to is not specifically referenced, but Totalymoo explained parts of the EULA on the steam forums here. Just in case other questions come up, you might find the answer there right away

A lot of it is standard stuff and steam stuff. Legal speak is a language in itself. I suppose the focus of it is on the fact that altering the game is at your own risk

Yeah this is mostly standard stuff to prevent abuse and cheating. Don't worry, we wouldn't enforce this against modders.

I would assume you can copyright it only if you dont sell it
