I understand setting it to 'Off' essentially results in vanilla inheritance, but I don't quite understand the difference between the other settings. I think they all have to do with the distance in which exclaves are lost upon inheritance, but I am having a rough time distinguishing between each individual setting. What is a naval path? What is a limited naval path?

Could someone possibly give me an example of each setting?

Naval path = any sea connection of any length will do
Limited naval path = 1000 units, which is roughly the distance from eastern Spain to Jerusalem

Significant and Harsh remove the 1 county gap option that is allowed in Limited

Found this on a reddit thread:

"Limited naval path limits exclaves to 1000 units, you can check this by left clicking a county and hovering over another one, a tooltip should appear and it should show the distance from the selected county along with the name, etc."

Thanks for the input, I suppose I have a better understanding now
