I dont see this option [claim title] in diploma interface...? whats wrong?
It`s not CK1, it`s CK2. You get claims by sending your chancellor with "Forge claims" mission.
Was wondering if we'd get this option. Games can end up being quite slow if you have a stable realm and a rubbish chancellor.
The "Claim Title" interaction has been removed from the game, due to balance reasons - it was way too powerful.
I knew that "Claim tittle" feature would have been the first things that would not be in CKII like it was in CKI. It was quite unbalanced in CKI and I never used it as it felt like cheating. You just needed to declare war and then claim all the tittles of the enemy and take them in a peace deal.
Hm... It means either demo or manual is outdated.
Manual, it has to be printed way in advance.
id actually prefer it if it was in im finding in the demo nothing seems to be happening..... sometimes playing 20 years without a single war over a single province...... we need more war...... maybe claim tital should only be if u have a valid claim like u own one of the duchy provinces already so why not them all?
If you have a duchy title, you can declare war on counts from your duchy who are not your vassals to make them your vassals.
Actually, there are plenty of ways to get casus belli - but they are not as straightforward as Claim Title from CK1. And I like it!

Good decision. Frankly, other than the dearth of claimants in the early game, it's just not that difficult to expand given the incentive for pretenders to join the court of someone who can enforce their claims, and my willingness to enforce their claims.
I noticed the mapmodes in the manual were a little sparse as well, compared to the demo...
Can we get an updated PDF manual, or even just the altered pages, once the game is released and settled?
How about a REAL manual? Seriously, the manual is a joke; it doesn't tell you any of the important stuff you need to know. For example, under what circumstances can I revoke a claim? What are the consequences? What are the pros and cons of leaving someone in jail vs. freedom, banishment, and execution? If I go to war with someone and my ally comes in and conquers a territory, who gets it? Does the rank of the "seige leader" matter as in previous games? If so, what are those ranks? And so on.
The demo itself does a pretty good job of telling you with "Hints". If they ere to make a truely comprehensive manual it would be north of 100 pages, not practical. The manual does a good job of telling you the basics, if you have played ck1 a lot is pretty intuitive. Love the way titles are being handled as well by the way , "Claim title" was too strong
But I would like to know how the succession laws work in detail. How are the titles split in gavelkind? 50% heir - 50% rest? Who can vote in elective? I (a duke with one duke title) had direct vassal counts that didn't vote and direct vassal counts that voted for himself and counts that voted for someone other but not the one i nominated. I had 100 relation to all of them, nobody voted the one I nominated. How can I influence votes?
