Would you be able to include a "total stats" option? I'd like to be able to search by the value of the bride's stats all added together. Whenever I put in minimums to search for brides, I'm always worried that I'll miss women who have a low stat in one area but astronomical ones elsewhere.
Not sure about this one... I'll have a ponder. It's not difficult to do, just not yet convinced by it's worth... yet. :)

My only issue with sliders is that they use up a lot of space on the interface. I was thinking more along the lines of updown controls that you get in a lot of windows interfaces.

But I'll try the sliders idea and see how it looks. I'm rather fussy about interface design you see? ;)
Ah, the interface space issue didn't enter my mind. :p

BTW, I'd like to search muslims and pagans too. Because Divine Shadow mods are there, and we can play as heathens similary as christians.

Say you have several good brides, and aren't sure which one to pick. A good criteria would be which one has the most points altogether.

Similarly, if I end up with a list of lots of good brides, I don't want to have to go through each one to find one which has high stats in everything, so being able to sort by the value of all their stats added together should put most of the best brides at the top of the list.

Also, the java-based bridefinder currently available sorts brides in this way by default. The only problem with that one is that it isn't always right.

Also would you ever want to search for multiple religions?

You would always want to search all religions. Leave it up to the player to roleplay whether he prefers blondes or Alans or absolutely has to bring home a Greek Orthodox girl to mom.

What would be useful - if perhaps unworkable, I don't know - is graying out or otherwise marking brides unavailable due to their liege's pagan or infidel status. You don't want to just leave out Muslim brides, since especially if you have successful crusades, many *are* available for conversion-through-childbirth.
