CKII is crashing fter patch 2.6.1

Game is crashing to desktop while "loading graphic" after patch 2.6.1

I tried to do what they suggested here.

I often have that problem after an update, and every time it has been due to me running a mod that isn't compatible any more. So disable all mods and see if it starts, and then you can hunt for the one that is causing the issue.

It's not working without mods.
