CKII- Dealing with the papacy to mend the schism and restore the Roman Empire.

So I am playing is the Bizantine Empire in CKII and I want to restore the Roman Empire and mend the schism. But even though I control the county of Rome, the pope still holds some baronies there and I need to get him out in order to achieve my goals. So how do I expel the papacy from Rome?
