Is Crusader Kings Chronicle mobile game still supported? I have been unable to unlock the "Game Book"/ Chronicles DLC content in the main game.

I followed the instructions and have my Paradox Account and Steam synced along with logging into the mobile game with the same email as my Paradox and Steam accounts. How do I get it to recognize it when I boot up the game? I even checked previous reports, reinstalled the mobile app and logged out and re-logged back into Paradox account on CK2 launcher.

Still I have banner to purchase it in the main game and can’t access the unique song and events. Ironically, it recognizes eBooks which I bought as a test for syncing accounts. This situation is getting increasingly frustrating as I have bought the Chronicles first and foremost to access the aforementioned content. I have spent too much time to solve this already and would appreciate help. Thanks.

P.S. Minor thing but even though I own The Reaper's Due (CK II Collection) upon syncing the Steam account I didn't get the fancy skull icon... :)

Maybe I should have added that I had bought Chronicle from Google Play application from my Android mobile phone. Payment was via my prepaid SIM Card. Was any step omitted from the description? It is not added to my Steam library, so maybe there’s the problem? Any help/suggestion would be appreciated… I deleted my Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2 folder, but still to no avail.

Sorry for being too persistent, but I want to play ironmen with aforementioned content i.e. events...

P.S. I'll buy the rest of the e-books if you help me...I might read them in the train on my way to work.

Disclaimer: Only a forum member

I believe to recall you have to use Chronicles first on the mobile, play it, before parts of it get activated for the game.

the Wiki article also says this:
"Have you logged in to the Paradox Account in the mobile app?"

I don't think the Chronicles actually show up in your Steam library or the launcher.
As far as i know it doesn't count as a game DLC.


Maybe try contacting suppport directly via request at their page if noone answers here.

Thanks for trying to help. Yeah, I’m connected; see screenshot below. Well, I’m clutching at straws, so I’m wondering what Steam has with it. Anyway, as you can see, e-Books are recognised; so it connected. However, CK2 still doesn't recognise the Chronicles content. I could easily mod it in, but that messes the checksum…

Edit: I have posted the ticket, so I guess I'll wait...

But have you logged into the Paradox account through your mobile ?
In your opening post you said "re-logged back into Paradox account on CK2 launcher".

OK, so I got it to work by uninstalling the gamebook from my IOS device, reinstalling, and logging in all over again within the app, then restarting CK2 (again logging out and logging in). The banner ad above the menu bar no longer appears, and the song "Guy de Roses Quandary" now plays. If anyone has this same problem, try these steps!

So assuming i get that right,
log into the mobile app, start CK2 first, log out and in again and the banner should disappear.

I just wonder if the user logged into the Paradox account via a browser or the game launcher...
If you only logged into the accunt via launcher then, i'd try it via browser after getting into the main menu of the game.
Logging in via launcher sometimes appeared to have caused issues before sometimes, so it could this time,
but i'm just guessing as i don't have the Chronicles. Maybe you get a satisfactory answer with your ticket.
