Hello everyone who works! My name is Batuhan. I'm Turkish. I will have a request from you. We want "Turkish language" for Crusader Kings 3 Game. There are many Turkish players who want this, but also the Turkish community of players who love you ... We love and play this series and many more paradox games.

Crusader Kings series is full of wonderful events and stories from start to finish. For example, while playing with the dhimmian character of a dynasty belonging to the sunni sect, the Quran was left in the bedroom of the character one night and the question was asked about whether I can read the book at the event. Then, in the morning, my character died of cancer. Personally, this was my favorite event in the game. It is very difficult to play such events in English so I support Turkish support.

Since we asked you to bring Turkish language support, we launched a signature campaign to attract your attention:

They (Paradox) have already outlined the languages at launch, they can't add support for every language. Paradox games have lots of written stuff, that would need to be translated, which would then need to be updated every time they add something new to the game, plus every other language they support.

When I spoke via e-mail, they said to me, although it is not certain:

"We will see what happens, I highly doubt older games will get translations but moving forward, newer games could see it being added. Wait and see, we've got a few things up our sleeves ! "

I don't think a petition will make them change anything about their plans, but I hope for turkish community that you'll be able to play in your language. If Paradox doesn't make any official translation, there is still the possibility that some people group together to make a fan translation. That's what the Chinese did for CK2 IIRC

And is the "General Turkish gamer community" ready to pay the additional cost of the whole game's translation into Turkish?
I mean, if you'd ask the same people and give them a choice:
Play the game in Turkish with additional cost of 20-30 Turkish Liras for the base game and 10-15 liras for every DLC
or play the game in English with current pricing
how many of those 1600 petitioners would still keep asking for translation, or would be fine with English? You know, translating the game into a language with very different rules from English isn't free and easy job.

The person who does not buy the game does not vote for this campaign anyway. He wants it that he's voting, isn't he? Besides, I'm not just talking about this game. All the games of paradox are known by the Turkish player community and are played by a certain segment. For example, I can give an example of the turk player community fan page: paradoxfan.com this site is full of turks with paradox fans. and in every game that will be released, it is discussed whether Turkish language support will come into play or not. Our wish is to support even if the paradox comes out as dlc. Our only concern is to play the games with understanding.

I never said they wouldn't later down the line, but for launch and probably some time after launch they most likely aren't going to be focused on new languages

Crusader Kings III will launch with the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish-Spain, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Korean.
