A quick ctr+F search told me, that there is not an entry about enabling free console access to the game. So I assume you still haven't fixed that?

We are still forced to either play in constant debug_mode with pink debug text everywhere if we JUST want *access* to the console?, or not have access to the console at all?

Can you at least say IF you will adress this in the future at all, or are you intentionally making the QoL exprience worse for everyone?

Realms with the gender laws Female Preference or Female Only will want to do so, or if their religion is female dominated.

What about if they are a ruler, or the heir to titles?

This is a nonsensical change for the worse, and I can't understand why you made it. Why would disinherited (tonsured) characters be forced onto the throne by factions?

Happened historically. Though not the best candidates, nobles were known to occasionally pull people out of monasteries and try to push their claims when better candidates were unavailable.

The list is great, and my thanks to the development team for implementing so many fixes so soon after release. My only concern is that I'm not sure the changes will be enough to keep Catholicism's fervor from tanking and that making characters less likely to cheat won't be enough to curtail the preponderance of seduction schemes, plus there's nothing to limit their success chance. Guess we'll see over the coming weeks.

- The holder of Jerusalem is now unlikely to accept Populist demands.
- Fixed AI's caving to populist demands when they really shouldn't.

If you do this, PLEASE make it still optional via another start-up command OR give us a start-up command to disable it. Having no access to the console to tempt me to cheat has been a DREAM and if its enabled by default with no way to turn it off outside iron man, it will make the game SIGNIFICANTLY worse for a ton of people who have difficulty resisting the urge to cheat to get out of a jam and still want access to save / load outside ironman.

Thanks for the patch!

- Creating a title will now cause vassals dejure under it to lose title allegiance if their allegiance is to a title of the same tier. E.G., creating the empire of Italia as the HRE will cause the Italian vassals to lose allegiance to the HRE
I don't understand what this means, can anyone explain?

No retroactive fix for broken achievements, great just...just great...
If we could've fixed it retroactively, we would've. Problem is the necessary info for it quite simply does not exist in pre-1.1 saves.

Yes, the conversion issue should be gone.

All I want is, that if the launch parameter "-debug_mode" is set, that entering the "debug_mode" console command doesn't make it IMPOSSIBLE to open the console again. That is so nonsensical, I can't even understand why it is that way.

Can't see any changes to Dread? Does this mean you can still execute wrong faith prisoners to terrify your kingdom with unlimited dread.

I'm confused about this though. It seemed that countesses/duchesses/queens/empresses don't marry matrilineal when it necessary for their bloodline to survive. Am I incorrect in this assumption? It seemed like a AI bug that hasn't been addressed here.
That's what happened historically, as was confirmed in that Reddit AMA.

Dynastic survival is a big deal for players in CK3, but the AI naturally doesn't care much about it (lineage being more important).

What Spartanlemur says is correct. The AI shouldn't be overly bothered with the survival of their dynasty, as they don't 'game over' like a player would do, their lineage is more important to them. Just to clarify, first and foremost matrilineal marriages are a player tool to avoid game over, they aren't very historical. There is only a handful of examples of it happening, all of which are outside of our timeframe/area of the map we represent.

On the other hand, playing in a region with a Female Dominated/Preferential faith felt weird/played suboptimally with patrilineal marriages being the default, so we fixed that by making matrilineal marriages the norm there. :)

Just wanted to say that I think the game balance changes are really fair: it removes some difficulties which were unfair to players but actually removes a lot of exploits which made the game very easy in other areas (e.g. ease of ability to abduct foreign rulers). Well done!

Did anyone see whether you should now start receiving marriage proposals from AI? Not a big deal either way.

Edit: Also, is it possible to make AI much less inclined to create more empire titles which messes up the inheritance and creates weird bordergore?

Did they address characters' matri/patri preferences when in an Equal/Female focused religion? At present, the AI always assumes they're in a male-preference religion.

I don't want to sound too ungrateful but it's hard to believe you guys missed all this at launch. It's clear you had a specific date and chose to release then, even if the game wasn't quite ready. I know this has become common practice in the gaming world but I'm personally very sick of it... At least release in early access or something next time if you want us to beta test for you.
