Another reason I agree with this and support the idea is because the system is very similar in India as well - uncles and cousins etc. have a seniority system and different titles of reference. It is present in both classical Sanskrit and its modern successor Hindi. It would be a great thing for mods.

In certain patrilineal kinship system there's an emphasis on the eldest son and they even have a special relationship title to be addressed. So in China, you don't ever address your uncle by name but by tittle such as "Big Uncle" (1st son of your grandpa) and so on. As it stands we can't really mod that into the game. (or I'm just not good enough at modding)

Question about house heads:
I wonder why King Garcia of Galicia among the Jimena brothers is the house head (and dynast) of House Jimena (and Jimena Dynasty). Not his oldest brother King Sancho of Castille (who irl briefly united his father's realm), or King Alfonso of Leon (eventual survivor among the brothers), or even King Sanch/Antso of Navarra (who represents the senior line of Jimena). Any reason why Garcia was selected?

His realm looks physically biggest on the map though it was the weakest (maybe stronger than Navarra?). Is that why?

Yeah, playing as Sancho is one of my favorite starts. It boggles my mind as well that if Garcia gets a kid, I pretty much have to go full kinslayer to get the Dynasty Head title. It doesn't make any sense...
It should go, I believe, in this order:
  1. Highest independent ruler
    1. If there is a tie, the one with highest level of Fame.
    2. If there's still a tie, to the one with the highest amount of titles.
    3. If still a tie, to the one with more holdings.
    4. If still a tie, to the oldest one.
    5. If somehow still a tie, to the one with more money.
  2. If there's no independent ruler, to the one with the highest level among them (so that a King vassal to an Emperor still gets first than a Duke vassal to a King). Same rules for tie breaking as above

It's all based on military strength: (CKIII FAQ)
▲ I understand that the head of the most powerful house head becomes the head of the dynasty, but what determines who is the most powerful house head? Which factors are the most relevant?
► Military strength is the main factor

I have started as Sancho about 40% (or more) of the time in CK 2 (my go to start basically), so this is quite disappointing.

Still, I just want to know the reason why Garcia was selected. Was it because his realm looks the biggest?

If we go by your suggested order, all 4 (even Antso) are independent. All 3 (excluding Antso who was in throne for over a decade by 1066 start) just inherited so not much difference in fame (or Antso should be ahead here). Among the four, Sancho was the one who was successful against the other 3 (plus even Sancho of Aragon) militarily.
Alfonso seems to have more titles by 2nd criteria (and 3rd by extension). Oldest is Sancho. Money, maybe Alfonso (?).

It's all based on military strength: (CKIII FAQ)
Then is that rightly placed for Galicia? I don't see they were stronger (or more troops) than either of other 3 Jimena kingdoms in the game*.
* for the matter, irl, it was Castille under Sancho.
