I would be great if this vote could be restricted only to those who own the game rather than Forums users. Or is it?
That actually changes less than expected, saying as one who owns everything CK3 related. It is already in the forum, which already limits the radius to those either already having the game or having another game of PDX or interest in one compared to a poll done outside on a survey-based system. And while there are some votes of people who don't own this game or don't have it on their radar, these are minimal.

I'm glad it seems Wards & Wardens has won the vote. I and I'm sure many others considered the other two options, though eventually had to settle on Wards & Wardens since it is the only option here which would add to the innate core gameplay and not simply introduce a little additional side content. Nothing's wrong with additional side content, but when given the choice, I'll pick something important to core gameplay any day.

Wards & Wardens builds upon the most important aspect of the game: the future of your dynasty.

Events related to the future kings or queens of your house and how they are raised and the person that they are shaped to become.

Their upbringing is crucial for the stability or downfall of your kingdom or empire.

Will they become a just ruler who is beloved by their people and bring peace and prosperity to the realm? Or perhaps a tyrannical one that is hated who brings only war and suffering?

While these are all great choices, and areas of the game I would love to see expanded on, I can't help but long for one of the features lost between CK2 and 3. I'd really love to see the cults and organizations added back into CK3! I have very fond memories of joining the various warrior societies, satanic cults, and religious sects of CK2 and think that would really add a lot of inter character dynamic relationships that feel like they're a little lacking in the game as of now. For now I'm voting for Wards and Wardens, but I hope other people also miss those groups and push for them to show up again soon in another CK3 expansion!

I don't think Wards is a priority but REGENTS and REGENCIES definitely are. When are those coming?
Due to the pace of updating CK3, I think it will take a long time for this to arrive in the game, unfortunately.

All three choices would enrich the gameplay. Doesn't matter which choice will win in the poll, as long all of those options are going to be included eventually. CK3 needs additional content after all.

Cause Love & Lust is not as impacting as the Wardens pack, for sure, but it adds nice flavor - and knowing you, also hilarious moments - since it was pretty common in that era. There were probably more bastards walking around than people care to admit.

the reason i didn't vote for wards & wardens is because childhood/regencies has enough potential content, IMHO, for a larger expansion, rather than a smaller one

I don't think Wards is a priority but REGENTS and REGENCIES definitely are. When are those coming?
I was watching Shakespeare’s Richard II yesterday and got to thinking about this - the king leaves a vassal, his uncle the Duke of York, in charge of England as regent when he departs to fight a war in Ireland, leading to trouble when the rebellious Henry Bolingbroke lands in England with an army and York is persuaded to switch sides.

If the new expansion concerns ‘reinforcing the connection between map and character’, as the devs have said, perhaps regencies will appear as a feature of this expansion or even the accompanying free patch? I.e. if the main theme of the expansion is that there will now be greater focus on where a character is on the map at any one time, then there should also be a new emphasis on what is going on in a ruler’s domains while he or she is physically absent…This would seem to tie in with the theme no less neatly than did the cultural overhaul, languages, artefacts and court mechanics all tie in with the theme of the Royal Court DLC and accompanying free patch.

From there, the regency mechanics could be adapted for the special case of child succession, with Wards and Wardens adding additional flavour content!

I think they should actually tone down the bastards and affairs. I agree there were probably more bastards, but I really doubt that these were of the nobility, or at least born from noble women, as they would have ladies in wait, who were usually approved, if not outright chosen by their lord husband and preferrably from his family and well, if you are a medieval lady cheating on your lord husband, chances are they weren't going to go 24st century on your ass. We can just look for Henry VIII for reference. Though he was king so it'd be high treason perhaps but the for the wives of the lesser lords they'd probably go medieval as well.

I would love to vote for "Love & Lust" if it had dowry mechanics, engagement for adults, choosing auspicious date for wedding (depending on culture/faith/personality/whatever), and some on_actions like on_betrothal (to check requirements and set wedding date in script) and on_wedding/on_before_marriage (to check if requirements are still met and cancel marriage without consequences of divorce). Or at least an effect to cancel it inside of on_marriage. And also wedding ceremony for dead couples and sacrificing or secretly killing alive betrothed/spouse/concubine of dead character to bury them together.
"Alas! My child couldn't bear losing his beloved and died right after hearing the news. But we are still allies right, my King?" the Duke said.
"Yes, yes," the King said while thinking that this situation is little weird and Duke looks suspicious.

But I guess I can't expect complex mechanics from an event pack.

As for events, this pack could have child arguing with you, like "Dad! I don't want to marry him!" and then eloping with their crush/lover. Of course after that you send your people to find your runaway child and punish that insolent commoner who dared to 'kidnap' this king's precious daughter.
"My daughter couldn't choose someone like you. You definitely 'kidnapped' her! Take him to the dungeon!"
"Dad! No! I love him!"
"Lock her in her chamber and keep an eye on her"
"Yes my King"

* Your daughter princess Berta lost 100 opinion of you

Your children could even tell you that they have someone they want to marry and ask your permission.

Also this pack could have events where deceitful characters seduce trusting ones and betray them after getting benefits.
"You fool! DId you realy think I love you? Hahaha!"

And of course right of the first night. Imagine you (a duke) having fun on your wedding and then your liege (a king) comes to you and asks if you can do him a favor. You can agree or chase him away, kill him or start a war to make him cancel such a rule. Or you can go to your vassal's (a count) wedding and do the same as the king did to you. I guess such events would fit "Villains & Vagabonds" too.

I would love to see something like that.
