Yeah because a tiny flavour pack with new outfits and a few events is meaningful DLC that made fundamental additions to the game right?Northern Lords came out in March 2021, just six months after CK3 was released. Not two years.
The thing you'll get downvoted for is being ignorant, if anything. "Don't boycott things, just don't buy them!"People in here are reacting like they announced they were going to retroactively charge our credit cards for past purchases. I realize I'll get downvoted to oblivion and called an apologize for not jumping on the boycott bandwagon but might I suggest... I dunno, just not buying things if you think the price is too high?
Tbf - the CA/CM was just following orders - them running for the hills is to be expected as anyone with half a brain could have seen the reaction PDX is getting from a mile off, they'll send mods through to start deleting comments over the next few days - their fun Code of Conduct is as close to a de facto ban on significant sustained criticism as they can get without actually making a rule that says 'you cannot criticise us here'The fact we've gone a full day without any further response from the team is pretty heinous in of itself.* This isn't some minor griping about a feature being altered or a bug that has yet to be fixed - it's the wider community out and out saying "no, we don't accept that" to the price on the older flavor packs being raised.
*bar DebbieElla stepping to give people a slap for using the Report function, I assume to voice discontent.
I find this a rather gross exaggeration.Tbf - the CA/CM was just following orders - them running for the hills is to be expected as anyone with half a brain could have seen the reaction PDX is getting from a mile off, they'll send mods through to start deleting comments over the next few days - their fun Code of Conduct is as close to a de facto ban on significant sustained criticism as they can get without actually making a rule that says 'you cannot criticise us here'
Normally this post would actually be an infraction, but I will let it slide for one important reason that I want everyone reading this thread to think about:Tbf - the CA/CM was just following orders - them running for the hills is to be expected as anyone with half a brain could have seen the reaction PDX is getting from a mile off, they'll send mods through to start deleting comments over the next few days - their fun Code of Conduct is as close to a de facto ban on significant sustained criticism as they can get without actually making a rule that says 'you cannot criticise us here'
Not allowed to call for boycotts or post 'inflammatory messages' or 'comment or discuss moderation' or 'flame' and 'rant', not allowed to post polls without their permission beforehand all added together there are a million and a half ways to delete just about any comment PDX would rather not have here
Their Code of conduct is a net wide enough to catch almost any post if you are willing to close one eye and squint with the other
