It's in the game ( tho i haven't personally came acrossed it yet ) and its something modders can't fix so its something that if its plaguing you will have to be fixed on paradox's end sadly .
I didn't encounter it personally but don't want to start a campaign risking it to be bugged in the middle, so I'd rather wait for Paradox hotfix then :)

Can confirm it's definitely in... have spent a fair while "touring the map" and dismissing levies of various rulers - annoyingly, it seems to affect vassals as well as independent rulers. Have seen a -100 opinion modifier from raised levies a couple of times, which was a bit crazy...

Here's hoping Paradox release that hotfix soon (and that it doesn't introduce any other bugs in the process!). I'm guessing that will mean yet another patch for CK2+? Good stuff on the latest patch, btw! :)

Yes but the way to flip to it depends on if you have WoL or not ( without works as before with it requires you to be a certain focus + have less than 50% ma in your current religion ).

You could also just make an Egyptian Pagan with the character creator.

Question #1: Is it intended for Anhalt to be dejure Pomerania in the Charlemagne start? Under elective gavelkind, this would result in the Kingdom of Saxony giving up it's capital to Pomerania should Saxony have enough lands to form it.

Question #2: Does CK2+ use the refinements the basegame made to Gavelkind? Or is it more a matter of "Well, Anhalt is de jure Pomerania, so wierdness. Whoops. Sorry your new capital is in Looserberg."

When did the basegame make refinements to gavelkind?

Also: Saxony's capital is set to Weimar, not Anhalt. That being said, your post reminded me of a change Wiz made in the original CK2Plus, so I just did some digging and discovered that Anhalt should probably be de jure to the duchy of saxony and adjusted it accordingly in our files.

I'm more than willing to chalk this up to me being an idiot operating under a wrong impression. >< As I understand the adjustments made in those patches for vanilla, under both forms of Gavelkind, the primary heir gets the de facto capital county and any further inheritance due should come from the duchy that the de facto capital operates in.

Please forgive my previous post. I was a bit frustrated when I wrote it.

Anything the base game has done with regards to gavelkind has been carried over to CK2Plus. We carry over everything until and unless we discover a reason to change it (and can) -- and both CM and WoL are too new for us to have received much feedback yet, to be honest.
