Hey Ck2Plus devs, just popping in to say I am playing the game again after 2 years of hiatus and I love what you have done with the mod. Thank you for continuing my Siege Imprisonment ideas in a streamlined and functional way. It feels just like what I had wanted to play when I set out writing my mod. I just watched a Duke diligently send his family into hiding, but I captured them anyway and the Duke was wounded escaping. Love it!

Now I just have to fight the urge to Compatch Magnate Lords. ;)

Will there be changes to the de jure composition in the CM bookmark? Having at least East Francia would make sense only after Charles subjugates Bavaria and forms his empire. I think it would be better to get the tribal territories as kingdom level titles (as with Saxony) and then create EF after the frankish empire/ HRE has been formed (Of course, West - and Middle Francia don't make sense as well, though I don't know what should be in their place)

I have a CM game going right now where the Franks have formed EF so its entirely possible for it to happen on its own right now.

I have a CM game going right now where the Franks have formed EF so its entirely possible for it to happen on its own right now.

No, what I meant was: It doesn't make sense to have the east-middle-west axis of francian kingdoms, from my point of view, in that time of age. At least Bavaria should be a de jure realm on its own, as Saxony. Sure, maybe the rest can be put inside East Francia, but with the "Tribal" (Not tribal "tribal") German kingdoms at least as titulars (And German culture should be split up in the earlier dates, but thats a different point). And (as Ravenna was lost more or less "just" before start) maybe Italy should be de jure ERE, but given to HRE if Charlemagne is crowned emperor to simulate the treaty of Aachen.

Back in the day I used to combine all the ML/CK2Plus event files 'by hand' with the blessing of Apg and Wiz, because the mods used very different versions of key files. Does the launcher add non-conflicting events from different mods together? That would be sweet. I havent tried loading up ML with CK2plus because I want to test out how my machine handles Plus alone first, ML is a tonne of events.

As far as I can tell with EU4 (it uses the same system) it loads things the same way you'd expect the regular file/folder format to work

Yeah, I thought so. Obviously it wouldn't even work with these mods quite like that since the global settings for + and ML are so different that the game balance would be whack if either was given precedence.

Zeress, other devs, may I have your blessing to do a Compatch for ML/CK2+ (also given Apg's permission)? Objectives include:

-Add resources/events/traits from ML to the CK2+ files
-Add/balance buildings from ML to CK2+
-balance economy using CK2+'s global values where I can
-minimal "tweaks" for other game balance and AI behavior, maintain economic feel of current CK2+.
-test game speed with a 3.6ghz Core 2 Quad/1600mhz memory (older quad core, so any i5/i7 should beat it)

Have there been changes to making a costume empire? I like the vanilla req of having 180 holdings. The three kingdom titles is a bit much, since I want to make all conquered kingdoms into dejure of the original kingdom....

What's wrong with a zip?
Hmm... actually, it bugs me a bit right now :unsure:

To make my submod (VIET+) working, I have to overwrite 00_on_actions with the new version.
However, since CK2+ is now a zip, I have to manually copy the file into it instead of simply hitting "overwrite". Even worse, since the mod is now on Steam, the files will be regulary verified and redownloaded, leaving me wih the base CK2+ 00_on_actions, right ? :sad:

So I am asking all of you wise people here: How do I make it so my file takes precedence over the CK2+ one?
(I have been wondering if this could maybe be specified in the .mod description, but I have no idea how...)

If the Byzantinue Empire has a non-orthodox ruler, it will turn into the Latin Empire. So the Themata system won't apply.

Not sure what you mean by "shouldn't it be applied to all realm" -- it applies to the Byzantine emperor.

As for Imperial decadence itself, you cannot see the exact value. You can only see the effects it has, such as the modifier that's applied to the emperor.

With appliying to all realms, I meant all realms with imperial administration. Forgott to end my train of thought there, was tired, I'm sorry. What I mean is that a latin empire with imperial administration would face the same problems as the ERE; as would any imperially governed realm.

And with other religion I meant such like hellenism or about everything except catholicism which makes the ERE turn into the Latin Empire. There is no system in place for the coronation then.
