For muslims:

If independent, king rank or higher, zealous and/or greedy: Decision to raise jizya taxes, results in increased chance of religious and cultural rebellion. Heir gets decision to to remove increased taxes, can choose to keep it even if he doesn't have the required traits (because legal precedent was a thing everywhere)
If independent, king rank or higher, sympathy for other religions: Decision to abolish jizya, lowers risk of rebellion, annoys all muslim vassals especially zealous characters. Zealous vassals will petition you from time to time to reinstate it. Heir gets option to continue with abolished jizya or to reinstate it
Special event upon conquest of constantinople: discovery of tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, one of Muhammad's companions. Gives X prestige if you choose to give him a proper tomb for Y gold

Hello everyone !

I would like to suggest a couple of small changes at the 1000 year bookmark. Nothing complexe, but that will enhance the historical accuracy and make the Kingdom of Burgundy more playable between those two fat kings that are the French and the Germans.

- 1 : In the 1000 bookmark, the Duke of Burgundy (called Henri) is independant for a couple of years before being annexed by France. This is accurate, but his demense is not. Indeed, the County fo Burgundy and the County of Montbeliard are at that time ownedby Otte-Guillaume, the first count (since 986). He has no link whatsoever to Henri (except being his son in law) and is a vassal of the King Rudolf III, even if a loose one.
The question of the county of Chalon is more difficult. Technically, it is not in his hands (Otte-Guillaume), and it has never been a part of the Kingdom of Burgundy.
So their is 2 changes here to make it perfectly historicaly accurate : switch the counties of Burgundy & Montbéliard to the suzerainty of the Kingdom of Burgundy, both being owned by an Otte-Guillaume count (he is a dynasty of Ivrea member) and remove the county of Chalon from the de jure kingdom of Burgundy and give it to France and the Duchy of Burgundy.
You can check all this on Wikipedia which is pretty accurate for this matter. If this doesn't convince you, I can find you books that proove it.

- 2 : For all bookmarks : Nice shouldn't be a de jure county of Genoa, but one of Provence. Indeed, NIce never recognized Genoa as its suzerain even if Genoa and NIce forged alliances every once in a while during the XIth century. Nice was much closer to Pisa than to Genoa, Genoa being a little to close and powerful and having ambitions on its coasts. On the contrary, since 973 and the liberation of Provence by Guillaume le Libérateur (William the Liberator in English ?) from the saracens, NIce recognized some form of suzerainety from the counts of Provence. The clashed every so often for a couple of century before being formally submited at the end of the XIIth century.
In this matter, wikipedia in English gives Nice to Genoa for some reason that I can't understand but it is not true at all. The French wikipedia (more complete on that matter) doesn't, and the books on it don't either. So all in all, if think this few changes are quite easy, and should be implemented to enhance the historical accuracy of the game. If you have any questions or requires additional sources, I can provide them to you (although most will be in french).

The threat decay at the moment is far to low to be even fun or possible to use. 0.06% will take many lifetimes if threat is extensive. I did explain this in the wrong thread before. I see how it needs to be lower than vanilla CK2 so it can be more difficult and balanced with the threat levels that were modified, but the decay is far too small. A higher level of decay would be more playable. I have tried out different decay speeds and have an idea what could be optimal for CK2+ without removing the difficulty or uselessness of other tools.

Second is more of a personal thing, but in Ancient Religions Reborn mod, which I know u will not be using the latest version of, there are special and flavor events that allow a player to pursue in becoming one of the ancient religions without just spawning with it at the start. This adds a new layer of interest in the religions without throwing the religions out onto the map in blobs or with the NWO option. It gives a player something to work for if they want. Its just something I would like to see but its something that could bring more interest.

This is in the mod already. Take the scholarship focus and eventually you'll have the opportunity to recruit a scholar versed in the old religion (provided you're not zealous anyway). If you take him up on the offer and keep him around in your court eventually you'll get an event that will let you convert to the old faith either publicly or in secret.

I will link my best one that I have tested for you to try. If you want, the min and max decay can be lowered down 0.05 of the original amount without much unbalancing effect on other modifiers. Infamy from provinces has been changed, the min and max of infamy decay has changed, and the maximum amount of infamy that can be given in one war has been bumped up by 5.

Is there any particular reason why restoring the Zoroastrian priesthood is so much more difficult than establishing a leader for Mazdakism or Manicheaism? It seems like it should probably be brought in line with the difficulty of those two, instead of requiring you to grab a full Empire tier title before being able to convert.

Mali should be added to the game as an offmap power, using the new functionality in Jade Dragon. Could tie the trans-saharan trade routes to their status the same way the silk road is tied to China.

But Mali is already in the game, is it not? Why add it as an extra Off-Map power?
What could be added instead in Africa are the Swahili City States or the Kilwa Sultanate respectively. That area is outside the map, yet interacted with the on-map world. However, mostly only through trade so I am not sure if the amount of work would be worth it given how little "visible" interaction would be historical.

What could be added instead in Africa are the Swahili City States or the Kilwa Sultanate respectively. That area is outside the map, yet interacted with the on-map world. However, mostly only through trade so I am not sure if the amount of work would be worth it given how little "visible" interaction would be historical.

Well the off map power system is heavily intergrated with the vanilla trade system...

I had an idea on how to handle the border dispute CB, in case it turns out to be overpowered. How about if you can only press border disputes on stuff that borders your own demense? This would mean you'd have to strategize it with your inheritances and revocations and stuff. Another option might be to put in a cool down like holy wars have.
