Hi, I have two bugs.

Some of the portraits appear as blanks, as can be seen in the first screenshot.

Screenshot from 2018-06-15 21-38-40.png

And when I see the De Jure relations of my kingdom, an empire with an empty coat of arms appear.

Screenshot from 2018-06-15 21-38-57.png

As far as I know, I am using the latest (2.8.3.1) version of CK II, and the latest (4.07.5) version of the mod (although the checksum don't match, I have LMZG). I am using also the flat water mod and two other mods for music.

Try disabling the other mods and verifying your vanilla game files.
Doesn't sound like something the mod would cause.

Done both of them. Still missing some portraits and the coat of arms.

BTW, I'm not using any of the DLCs that add portraits or anything, as the Q&A says that no DLCs are needed.

Strange. I see no reason why CK2+ would cause that. And it does definitely not happen with vanilla?

Edit: No, wait, I spotted sth: Are all these affected characters babies (0-2 years)?
If yes, you should be seeing fancy baby portraits instead. This is definitely something the mod does affect, but I just tested and it works fine for me.
These baby portraits are implemented in a rather hacky way, but no-one has had problems so far so I am not sure what might be causing them for you.

The past two updates have randomized the dynasty symbols of characters on the maps and or randomized the colors the dynastys have when ck2+ is installed. Also the event in which a person has turned into a heretic and you have the option of convincing them or having a religious debate to turn them back your religion causes them to turn into No_religion.

YES! I have just checked the person finder and it seems that only babies are affected. o_O
Strange. Especially since no one else seems to be affected.
Well, I can't really figure out atm why it would not work for you, but if you want you can try to just disable baby portraits altogether.
The easiest way to do so would probably be to open up /common/scripted_effects/plus_scripted_effects.txt and commenting out everything within the "assign_baby_portrait_effect" clause. Then the game would no longer hand out the hidden traits that fuel the whole baby portrait override, and you should be seeing the normal child portraits instead.
Would only work on a new game obviously, as in your save the hidden traits will already be handed out and you'd have to edit more files or remove them via console.

But yeah, no idea why it's not working for you :/

From what I have seen in the code, it would probably be easier to change the code that assigns the portraits, or change the weight. If I follow your suggestion, I would lose the hidden trait of being a baby and its debuffs.

Also, in the function that you mention, it would probably be easier to change the order of the if statements, so you first check the graphical_culture and then if is_female.
