Sand Moses?
WAD, though arguably it's a hack.
Because we want there to be "crossings" between oasis provinces through the desert, and these will only get displayed at sea level. Alternative is to hide them, but then there'd be no way for the player to tell which provinces are connected.
So pending a better idea, it needs to be this way.

Nice post title though ^^

Hello, recently I was playing as Alexios Komnenos and tried to use the re-educate targetted decision. Instead of replacing the old education trait with the new one, it added a new trait which made my character completely overpowered. Is this WAD?

Tell me, when you learn something new, do you forget the things you knew before?

No, and that’s exactly the problem. Alexios originally has the Midas Touched trait in The Alexiad start, but when I used the re-educate decision, I ended up with both Midas Touched and Brilliant Strategist instead of just Brilliant Strategist like I expected in the beginning. We’re supposed to only have one education trait, aren’t we?

I don’t know if it’s WAD. Not game breaking, but it seems off when my character’s the only one AFAIK with two tier 4 education traits.

schwarherz means in real life

I did say it's not game breaking. It's just that considering in this mod, your skills (including education trait) can improve as well as degrade due to certain events, is it really strange to think of your education trait as something that will change if you focus on other things? Especially since I got the impression that education trait is like your character's class in RPG. Maybe it is WAD, but it seems strange when I see no AI, even the smart ones (10 learning or more) acquiring another top tier education trait like I did or even assigned two education traits by default. Or maybe some characters do? I don't know, that's why I asked because I never tried this decision before.

I've debated for a while whether or not to post this here at all, because while I'm PRETTY SURE it shouldn't be a thing that can happen, I have absolutely no idea what caused it, so I can't really give much info beyond that I'm using the latest version of the mod on the proper patch (2.8.1.1) and that the only other mod I'm running is Rex Teutonicorum, which I don't think? should have much of an influence on this.

I'm playing an unreformed nordic pagan, yet I (suddenly, with no apparent cause) have some strange mix of unreformed and reformed CBs. I can still use the county conquest CB, but I am also now able to declare holy wars, and when I die, my heir can't use the once-per-lifetime pagan subjugation CB.
Any ideas?

WAD and WAI.

You get access to holy wars once you get control of 3 holy sites.
Pagan subjugation only applies AFAIK to people of the same faith. So you can't subjugate finnic rulers, only norse.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or working by design, but the normal wooden checkered borders around my world map are missing, so oceans/counties just kind of merge right into the light blue game background.

Not a bug. Frame was removed intentionally because it obscured parts of africa.

Creating the Empire of Kanem-Bornu requires a culture in the West African group - should be Central African as that is the culture of the area.
