Dev version is considered stable at this point, the new release is on hold until the new Crusader Kings 2 patch comes out (2.1.5).

Known Issues:

• Some modules have major issues/will cause CTDs (Base CK2Plus is high priority, modules come after, it will be good to note which ones don't work however.)
• India is imbalanced (Low priority for this release)
• Some localization needs work

So you have someone making the french translation/localisation? Will Rylock (the Victoria 2 modder) also be a part of the team? Also what will happen with VIET+ and will you update it to the latest VIET version?

EDIT:For patching, do you use the Validator and Winmerge?

I sent him a PM, I loved NNM and would love to have his help. Also yeah, Orescent joined the team around the same time I did to help with french localization.

No clue, that was just what I decided to call the thread. I'm sure schwarherz and zeress probably have something to say about the name.

The old thread was only called the continuation because it needed to be differentiated from Wiz's original thread. CK2Plus will always be CK2Plus, no "continuation" or "(re)Continuation" needed.

Never planned on changing the name of the mod, just named the thread this to differentiate it from the other one

For the localisation I will see, maybe I will take a look at it tomorrow (as I'm currently contributing for both VIET and When the World Stopped Making Sense). I can atleast help you with the VIET+ localisation.

All help is appreciated as we are rebuilding the team, I don't think we're in any position to deny anyone volunteering to help us out on CK2+ development, so you're welcome to join. The French translation is already advancing fast though, but I haven't touched the VIET+ localization yet.

Ok, you are probably faster than me, but I have some parts of the original VIET already translated that can be handy. Will create a GitHUb acount and take a look at it.

If I'm able to, I'd like to offer my services restoring the old CK2+ colours to the new map, as well as potentially doing new colours for the eastern duchies/counties in a similar fashion so there is more contrast and easier to tell when a realm is broken up. I did it back in SoA days as well. I'm not good with code and don't really have time for much else, but I am willing to do it again if it's something you're interested in.

That would be awesome! I'll need to finish the de Jure titles first so we aren't editing the same files.

May I ask what you have in mind with de jure titles in the Holy Roman Empire? As much as I enjoy the map in the 2.0.4 compatible version, the de jure duchies are often incredibly anachronistic or inaccurate for most of the relevant starting dates. Lower Lorraine's de jure provinces are not even in the historical Duchy of Lower Lorraine, to name one of the more egregious examples.

Are you primarily going for game balance with history as a mere guideline for the new map as well, or will historical accuracy have a greater priority?

I believe the HRE is the way it is because of balance. This kind of question falls under a design decision, but my current priority is getting everything updated and working. We're just trying for a feature-complete functional CK2Plus as it was in 2.7.2 (with the exception of tons of bug-fixes), then we can take a look at adding to the design of the mod.
