Roman pagan and Hellenic pagan are different religions.
Shouldn't matter. The decision checks the religion group (Roman and Hellenic share a religion group) so it should be fine. I can't really do anything with Ironman however. Ironman can cause all sorts of weird bugs.

I'm using a laptop with a not-so-big screen. Sometimes I can barely see the map under a couple of pop-ups.

Just so you know/remember in case you encounter something similar in the future. I just solved the problem with the mod by checking that steam is stupid and writes files all in lowercase. Linux is case sensitive, and the mod file points to a zip with some capital letters in it, which didn't exist... Stupid steam...

That's not stupid steam, that's stupid windows and lack of discipline and excess of stupidity in microsoft engineers in the 80s and 90s.

hi! i've just seen something weird happen: one of my counts, now 22 years old, suddenly became a bastard and has been given a new house. Like I said, he's 22 and never had the bastard icon until now.

Is this a bug? Or is there some event that could declare him a bastard 22 years later? Never seen this happen before.

note: his new house is not a cadet house.

Is there a detailed list with exact changes made by the mod (eg. added traits and what they give) anywhere?
Nope, not currently.
The dev team has no time for this because quite frankly, the list would be F*cking HUGE by now; and we'd rather spend our time adding moar stuff ;)
If someone else wants to compile such a list, I think we would not mind. But for now, your best bet is to take a look at the main post, where there's a spoiler for the "main features". And below, you could read through the changelog, which will list the biggest new features under "ADDITIONS" mostly (at least in more recent times). For traits this probably won't help you though, so your best idea would be to just open the files themselves (in /common/traits) and read through them.

Thanks.

I guess I'll just install the mod and see if I like it.

Hello, i have a question. How can i create an empire?
I made a kingdom out of my duchy and a few generations later this kingdom controls a big part of Europe. How can i make an empire out of it?

You need two or three kingdoms (depending on game rules, I think two is default) to create the empire, as well as either 50 provinces or 150 holdings. At that point there will most likely be a titular empire you can create, or else you can do a custom empire (if enabled).

I'm conquering the county of Rome as the Byzantine emperor. It's currently held by a feudal lord so the Papal State doesn't exist. The current bishop of Rome practices Latin rites. What's the best way to install a pope with Greek rites? I'm thinking of revoking the bishopric, and granting it to my court chaplain. But is there a way to force the current bishop to take on Greek rites?

While we're at it, can you teach me the mechanic behind usurping wife's title? When and how am I supposed to use the decision? I want to try it but it's always greyed out.

I suppose this is to simulate some scenarios in the middle ages, like the last rulers of the Macedonian dynasty.

As an independent duke, I wanted to found a custom kingdom, but apparently my (primary) duchy can't be the base of one. Is this a mod thing or a general game mechanic, and how can I find out which duchies I can use to found a custom kingdom?

What's the plan for the integration of the new Hellenic stuff into CK2Plus's?
Well, you must understand that whole affair is a bit... irritating.
With modders having spent a significant amount of time fleshing out the Hellenic religion, now vanilla adds more or less the same thing, after a loooong period of repeatedly stating they won't do anything in that regard.
So for players, this is a nice thing: You can pay money to buy the DLC that adds these things you - up until now - got for free. Of course Holy Fury will most likely add different stuff, so I won't say don't buy it (as it is full of other features) - yet just to get playable Hellenism, it's not worth it.
But it's a strange position for us: Should we port over the Holy Fury stuff into Plus, and throwing out or own, hard work? This would then mean everything we did before was just a "waste of time". And mod users would no longer get all the mechanics unless they owned Holy Fury.
Sounds like a good idea? I don't really think so.

I am not mod dev lead, but personally I think only time will tell what will happen to the Hellenic stuff from Holy Fury. But honestly: Did you see anything that you would desperately want to get added to CK2+, that isn't already in the mod in one way or another? Heck, we even very recently added unique priest headgear, even though it may look slightly worse...

(this problem applies to a lot of other mechanics as well, as a lot will end up doubled)
