Hellenic pagan religion doesn't get crusades, only Romans do AFAIK.

I know - this is the reason I immediately converted to Roman once I was safely Hellenic. I have been Roman, with Ponty Max restored and Roman MA @ 100 for a couple of centuries now - but no GHWs.

I realise this is not exactly priority #1 for the dev team, so I highly appreciate the responses. You fellas are doing a sterling job.

There's really no reason for GHW not to trigger. I tried it manually and it only complained about MA.

I already identified the issue, it's actually a compatibility problem with RT and BLG. Nothing to do with CK2Plus itself. Sorry for bothering you guys.

While I'm having fun with you guys' concept for Roman restoration, I wonder if the Imperial Reconquest CB is a bit underwhelming compared to the Byzantine Vassalisation CB. If used correctly (and a bit of luck on your side), you can conquer large kingdoms by vassalising the king. I actually managed to conquer the Fatimids in the new millennium bookmark with this trick. It's why I am a bit reluctant to restore the Roman Empire, because being the Byzantines give you a much, much more powerful CB.

Well, it may have been that the Crusades never fired for some reason (although I have been occupying loads of Christian holy sites for yonks). I was fooling around in the console firing the various GHW events (including Crusades and Jihads) and after making myself Ponty Max, and sure enough the GHW CB was there after I triggered the Crusades. Perhaps it is a coincidence, I'm not pretending to be a scientific tester. Anyway, there it is.

With the last couple of updates adding in the African countries, has anyone noticed the change in the AI Charlemagne & Karl, and Lombardy, before the update the Karl would always die within a few years of the start, Charlemagne would gain his kingdom and eventually take Lombardy. I simulated a four campaigns, Karl never does not die soon anymore. one time, he himself took Lombardy. So Neustria & Austrasia never unify into Francia. Usually things would get unified at least before the viking age started. Just wanted to make sure if this randomness was supposed to happen with the last updates.

has nomad instability been nerfed? Nomads seem to be losing much less land per succession this latest version
Pretty sure nomads haven't been touched for quite some time.
