How do I mod out the restriction to king titles for bishops? I've done it in vanilla by commenting out "can_be_granted_kingdoms_and_empires_by_other_government = no" in theocracy_governments.txt, but doing the exact same in CK2+ doesn't work.

it works here. though you still can't grant them kingdom title if they already have another duchy/kingdom title.

Are there any downsides to going from Late Feudal to Imperial Administration? Tried it in my Karling campaign and besides the -10 opinion it doesn't seem like it (Btw I love how the AI frantically revokes titles since I changed government. Seems like all my vassal Kings restrained themselves for 4 centuries and now they are taking everything for them haha)

I was playing a game as a Kannada Hindu and the only succession laws available are both kinds of gavelkind and primogeniture and (sometimes) ultimogeniture. Are they locked to only those?

As I can't destroy titles under gavelkind I have several kingdom titles but on those that have regular gavelkind I may choose to change the law to elective gavelkind, primo and ultimo, while on those that have elective gavelkind there is no option to vote on ultimo. I looked at the code and I see going ultimo from any elective is barred. Why is that?

CK2+ adds an event on siege giving options about what to do (imprison only the owner, everyone you can find, try to kill them, etc.) to the leader of the siege, so if you want to get prisoners you'll need to do the siege by yourself (appointing your character as the leader).

I thought it might be because of that event, but I didn't get it to fire. I figured it could be that that event only fires if you're at war with the character in question.

Is there a way to disable this with out breaking the rest of the mod? I'm reasonably experienced in modding/scripting and I have a few hours.

For all Merchant Republic players out there; as a Doge of Venice in early bookmark ( Nearly 800 ) how can you get rid of trading posts that get in your way from other people? By other people I mean following: I'm an independent Republic working my way down the gulf and the next sea, but there's 1 count and 1 Byzantine duke with 2 posts, negating my connected to capital bonus.

How can i destroy or claim them for myself without using the direct CB to either claim trade-post or city? Fighting alone against the Byzantine Empire for one measly trading post is stupid. Some clarification/guidance would be helpful! Thanks in advance.

In the future, you might want to take a look at the "Trade Post" gamerule, which has an option to disallow non-MR from building tradeposts on the coast. Which means you only need to fight other MR for maritime control, more like in vanilla.

Appreciate the answer bro. Hopefully someone else can tell me. I've read somewhere online that can you can seize trading posts through intrigue but I believe you can only do that when you're a Patrician.
