you should read carefully (the become king objective is strictly related to a dejure-kingdom (where you capital is located in?)). but reaction if you create a titular-kingdom-title should not been correct (3 years no-ambition-flag)

Wouldn't it be better if it would also count when you make a titular title... a king is a king.

Also, wouldn't it be nic eif female rulers are able to get a lover through the 'obtain debutane' decision. Female rulers can do the decision but it will call up a female character (according to the tooltip).

Maybe it should be posted firstly in New objectives mod thread, but I think that some of new ambitions are little imbalanced. Ambition to become king gives a massive amount of 1000 prestige, but becoming an emperor only 500 (wouldnt it better to switch those rewards?), and I think too many ambitions give stewardship bonus now. Aside from "trying to improve x", there is one Martial bonus ambiton (win a war), two diplomacy bonus ambitions, one learning ambition, and about 5 stewardship bonus ambitions! (become a grand duke, rule for 20 years, convert a county to your culture, gain 500 gold, gain 2500 gold) Its too easy to gain at least 3-4 additional almost free stewardship points per every character in my opinion. At least converting a county to your culture should give learning bonus instead of stewardship.

Female rulers can already generate male characters, five kinds even. If it's tied to an ambition though, I can't speak to that. I gave up trying to follow the new(ish) ambitions.

Err...Europa Divisa uses Mod Mercator as far as i know and its updated to 1.111 (not in the OP, but it is;see strategium alliance forum). Maybe ask that devteam ?

Europa Divisa uses a somewhat different version of Mercator that adds additional navigable rivers, but "vanilla" mercator itself is not up to date (it will receive an update at some point, probably provided by myself^^... but not very soon).

Present Debutante has an increased chance of making the invitee become your lover. That's even a vanilla thing iirc

Is there maybe some quick way to personally fix the barony cb bug (when AI dukes conquer your barony level vassals)? Right now it basically prevents player for leaving any single county under his / her control when its de jure duchy is controlled by AI, so If you already know how to solve this problem, would you mind giving some hints? Cheers

I have a personal fix for it, but I'm sure the CK2+ team will come up with something more elegant. I just made it so you can't vassalize baron-level characters, have to use dejure conquest on those. Add the red line to ck2plus_cb_types.txt, and I'm sorry I can't figure out how to make work a spoiler.

vassalize = {
name = CB_NAME_VASSALIZE
war_name = WAR_NAME_VASSALIZE

This is CK+ 2.03.1 (i downloaded it yesterday), so i presume that i don't have 1.111... strange, considering that Steam was updating CKII vanilla this week end... Anyway, this is probably this thing. Thank you very much, i come back to give some news^^

EDIT: The Checksum of the modded and bugged game was something like PLAZ or PALZ, so yes, definitely, it's a problem of version

Excuse me, i'm sorry to come back again with this, but despite the update of CKII (1.111 checksum:MLYP) it still doesn't work with CKII 2.03.1, i have a checksum different from ULGJ (FJWY or something like that, really not sure). Maybe I checked too much DLC?

Can someone elaborate on how this should behave compared to what it does now?

I made two quite elaborate casus bellis for my mod and I think I can take a look at this. However I need some more information about how it is supposed to work.

Try a game as the King of Lombardy in 867. Watch as the Duke of Lombardy vassalizes all of the mayors/bishops in your County of Pavia. I had to add something because it infuriates my wife to have him "stealing her cities". It also creates some of those weird issues when you do a Holy War and you don't get the baronies inside counties because they end up with different lieges.

As for how it's supposed to work, probably is personal preference. I think in order to take a barony you should have to have the county title or inherit it (or your vassal owns the county title and you take it for him).

Right now, a Duke can vassalize baron-level characters inside counties that the King owns directly; if those counties are dejure for his Duchy.

The only real reason we haven't released the next version yet is because we need to get a better map in (Mod Mercator is out of date, SWMH is too much stuff, and the author of the map mod I'm considering hasn't responded yet)

Why is a new map needed? I imagine a new map would cause problems with some CK2+ compatible mods like the Köppen Climate Classification mod and possibly with the EU4 converter DLC as well.

If a new map is an absolute must, then please choose one that doesn't remove any territory that is already on the vanilla map.

The new map doesn't remove any provinces. I actually had to add some back in that aren't in vanilla.

Minrog,
I think that is the best solution for the time being, disallowing vassalization of barons. It shouldn't be needed anyway as all AI-held baronies are automatically vassalized. I would put the 'not = { tier = baron }' under the "or" clause with regards to being either independent or the same realm. That way, if there does happen to be an independent baron, you can vassalize away.

Not necessarily provinces, but territory in general. Like what the last CK2+ update did to Finland.

I seem to be having an issue with this mod where plots don't fire. I could be getting *extremely* unlucky, but... Yeah :/ 200% plot power for over two years? Never seeing a plot succeed? Not too sure really. :3

So, is ther any news about the integration of Better Armies into CK2+ that was proposed some time ago?

It's already in the dev build

Can someone elaborate on how this should behave compared to what it does now?

You are supposed to fight the liege of the baron in order to subjugate him (unless of course the baron is independent, which can happen). Right now it treats barons at the same face value as any other vassal tied to a liege. If you want to take a swing at it go for it, we could use the help while we are focusing on other things.

As far as I understand, this issue would be solved when there is a check for the top_liege.
I will blatantly copy minrogs posted code here.
can_use = {
ROOT = { NOT = { has_character_modifier = holding_epic_tournament } }
ROOT = { NOT = { has_character_modifier = holy_truce_timer } }
FROM = { NOT = { has_character_modifier = holy_truce_timer } }
NOT = { FROM = { AND = { tier = baron same_realm = ROOT } } }
FROM = {
OR = {

It will not interfere with normal function fo the cb, however it does not work on barons when they are in the same realm (in theory).
If I failed to interpret the function please say so :eek:o

Running joke from the RotA EU:Rome LP of Crete by Wiz on the Something Awful forums. He refused to die repeatedly. There are a bunch of references to that thread in SW/RoP.
