Don't give me that look. It interacts well enough with CK2 Plus in every other way, I dunno why it messes with the realm shatter.

It overwrites our stuff probably the on_actions file.

If there is one file that I would say is essential it would be that file. You can easily remove any other event or decision file without losing much, but this is the thing that holds a lot of stuff together.

Why? The startup script is in that file, meaning NOTHING of Plus rules will work and NOT A SINGLE flag used by Plus will be set, realms will use default laws... etc.

And that's just first four lines of startup.

Immortals meet death by enthusiastic spouse

Lusty wife triggers event with a high chance of death if you are over a certain age.
Not a bad way to end a few-century long run, but immortals shouldn't be vulnerable to this.

I don't know...death by angry lover seems like a highly plausible cause of death, immortal or otherwise.

I know taking my own wife for granted is a dangerous proposition unto itself....

yup... now i just have to find that event...

It's not death by angry lover, it's death by snu-snu.

EDIT: PDX already fixed that, we integrated

i converted a save from CK2+ to EU4 and all of the icons (religion and rebel types) are all massed up. for example the pretender rebel icon is replaced by orthodox rebels icon and hindu religion icon on the diplomacy screen is completly broken. im using both CK2+ current version and EU4 current version.

Not sure if this was an intentional change or not (or even if it's from vanilla) but it seems like tribes that used to be elective gavelkind are regular gavelkind in the new patch? It affects the Norse tribes at least, who were definitely elective gavelkind last time I played in that region.

Edit: 867 start date, to be clear. I haven't tried others.

New version later today.

Some are certainly intentionap. I'll check for specifics, norse should probably be elective.

Oh, it's not a bug but a feature.

A few things about that though:

It's neither certain if or to what extent white Croatians in that particular time and place existed and even if they did, it doesn't necessarily follow that they would have made up the majority of the population in that area, which should be the most important factor in what culture to assign to which region.
I think with something as vague as the existence of Croatians in Slovakia it'd be better to look for an alternative of some sort.

It existed, somewhere between carpatian mountains and bavaria and bohemia. Sounds like a good spot to me.

The same thing was tought at school to me, so I'm not going to change that. (That or silesia)

Having a problem with New World Order as well. I randomed Patrician Theodosios of Kanakaris (three times for verification) and the day 2 dialogue didn't pop up. I tried again with a random german leader and it worked fine. It also worked fine as the Doge of Venice. Of course, I only use CK2+ (with india) 4.05.2a and CK2 2.6.2. Strangely, I went to verify the checksum and I get a 'building checksum' instead of a checksum. After a game restart, I still get the building checksum. If I start a game and resign, the checksum resolves to 2.6.2 (AHER) which seems incorrect compared to the download page. I do not have any other mods.

Alright, I did some further diligence. I verified the game cache via steam (no error), deleted and then re-downloaded the mod (Plus4052a.zip) from the main download link in the download thread. Perhaps most importantly, I rebooted. The checksum resolved this time to 2.6.2 (BHER) -- it of course changes on loading a game and going back to the menu (AHER), so there wasn't any checksum change despite doing all of these steps. Verified that Theodosios still doesn't trigger shattered realm on day 2, but every other lord I tried does so.

Nope, sadly not much you or any of us can do. Use an older save ( if you're in 840, use the one from 839).

I got to test play about 600 years, and I only had to "use older save" once.

The trade post bug is a bit weird, some people have reported it but it's not reproducible for me. Are you running clean Plus?

I had this error also, I no longer reproduce it, and believe it is solved. Uninstalling CK2 and the mod and restarting was not enough.

To eliminate it, I uninstalled, deleted all files related to CK2, restarted, reinstalled, then without starting CK2, installed CK2+ and no other mods.

This took some time, but it works.

I can also confirm consistently getting the checksum "BHER" with CK2+ & India enabled, even after a clean reinstall and restart. Checksum for just CK2+ alone is "HOVI"

I also noticed that the East Germanic cultures don't have their cultural buildings, and there are (as far as I saw) no references to them in the 00_CastleCulture file. It was mentioned in the change log that they received them, did someone forget to update the mod with the new file?

Perhaps most importantly, I rebooted. The checksum resolved this time to 2.6.2 (BHER) -- it of course changes on loading a game and going back to the menu (AHER), so there wasn't any checksum change despite doing all of these steps. Verified that Theodosios still doesn't trigger shattered realm on day 2, but every other lord I tried does so.

I'll recheck the checksum, the computer I tested it on was a bit on the slower side.

Where did you read cultural buildings were added? Retinues were added.
I added cultural buildings yesterday and they are still not included.
