I figured what happened when I could reproduce it (with a lot of troubles) :
When I lose, my vassal, the king of England, actually gets the targeted realm of the crusade, which is... his kingdom. He is catholic unlike me, who is cathar, and that must be why he is the one who can get it.
If the Kingdom is mine, the Pope gets it instead and it becomes independant from my empire.

I would guess this is not how it should be (he should become independant or the catholic crusade couldn't be called on a kingdom who is already catholic).

I do have a save of it (you just have to surrender to see it), but I don't know if I'm allowed to put external links to uploader since I have an error when I try to upload it here.

For the checksum, I have KEXH when entering the game and JEXH if I resign with my save, is that what you needed?

Hope this helps.

Actually, that should be enough information to go on. The edge case here is the Catholic owner of the kingdom also being your vassal, which I doubt the CB code accounts for. If I don't find an answer in there, I'll ask you for the save -- but that sounds right to me. I'll fix it for the coming update.

The New World Order decision is bugged.

If you use the decision at any point post-schism, and pick any of the options where it would effect the Pope (Everyone, Only Catholics, Only Christians), this then opens two windows. One asking about the Pope, the other for Merchant Republics.

Selecting any answer on the pope window will make it go to the Merchant Republic choice. So now you have two windows. Going down both chains you can pick different opions and the end result it it breaking down the world twice.

So if you wanting kings you get dukes, if you wanted dukes you got counts.

I've got the correct check sum (AWGG).

Note: Near as I can tell it works as it should pre-schism. Although you might think of adding something to the tooltip that tells you that picking the Schismatic Christian option doesn't flip the religions of the rulers immediately and that the schism event may take a few months for fire.

I have problems with the law view, is there a fix for that? Some laws are double and not all laws are enacted from the start, and cannot be enacted while clicking on them (although there is a vote). I wanted to show some pictures but when I printscreen it doesn't work

Did you load an old save with the version of the mod released yesterday?

Thanks for the report -- Zeress did the New World Order conversion, so this is hopefully something he can take a look at when he gets back.

I'm not sure whether it's an issue with this mod or the new EU4 update or the Cossacks DLC so I'll post in both. Converted a CK2 save that began from 1000 and the Holy Roman Empire has converted as a fully formed entity that doesn't come with any of the special HRE mechanics.

Update: someone has helped me resolve this. Turns out the HRE had taken their crown authority to maximum.

I'm getting crash to desktop with the following from the exceptions log:

I am running a few minor mods on top of CK2+ (a handful of extra traits and some adjustments to retinues, but no events), so I'll understand if you can't help me. But the crash happens consistently on the same date, which is right after a faction meeting. I'm suspicious that this is a bug in the faction event code.

Are you still updating the mod? If so I have a minor problem. Recently I held a tournament and after a couple days my ally called me into a war the event that usually stops the tournament from happening popped up and i got he 200 gold back but then the tournament happened anyway. This means that the tournament didn't cost me a single penny which was great but probably not what was intended. I am currently only running one other mod Cruel world and have the checksum XBNR with ck2+ version v4.01.4

While that may indeed be a mod issue, I really have no idea since you're running another mod -- which I have no idea what it affects.

It's great that folks report issues, but if you're running something else on top of CK2Plus, there's really no point. You're not playing our mod. You're playing a different one of your own creation.

as i recall it did help sometimes to find a fault in the mod. e.g. another mod caused the fault to execute more often.

you know your mod the best, so reading this kind of stuff could trigger a red flag for you.

That's pretty rare. Usually when I check out such reports, my time is wasted and I either discover the fault is in the conflicts or simply cannot be replicated on CK2Plus by itself -- so I've halted such investigations entirely. Well-meaning as such reports may be, I have better things to do than chase down bug reports based on issues created by people throwing mods together.

Mods are not a buffet. You do not add a pinch of this and a touch of that, and presto! -- Steam users are actually the worst for this -- and then still get to ask me to hunt down your issue because you happen to have CK2Plus as (what you consider to be) the main ingredient. Even if CK2Plus may, in fact, be responsible, I don't have that kind of time to waste finding out.

Playing as a custom, Roman Duke of Benevento in the 769 start causes a Catholic Roman courtier to arrive at my court in a few days.

Looking deeper into this, there's a Catholic (de Rome) AND an Orthodox (tes Constantinpole) courtier at the beginning of the 769 start, neither of which have lieges. I assume these used to be the heads of their respective churches before the Chalcedonian change.

I'm not running other mods, although I have done some small modifications to CK2+ itself (things like giving the Exalted3 and 4 ambitions +1 Diplomacy on success: actually is this a bug? Since Exalted1 and 2 do give Diplo).

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I'm playing a multiplayer game with my friend, and the names of our Kingdoms seem to pop up in other countries as well. So, I was playing the Earl of Sjælland, and he played Sigurd Ring of Svithjod. What happened was that eventually, other smaller countries (not in Sweden and not in Denmark) started getting the names - in realm view - of our respective lands. There was several Sjællands and several Svithjods, but none of these, when I clicked them and checked what their Kingdom/Duchy was called, had the actual names there. Only when I zoomed out a bit in Realm view was our names present in multiple entities.

Also, props for making such a great mod! I hope to see this continiously updated and added to, because I'm enjoying it greatly.

i think that's a vanilla bug. actually, i've seen it less in ck2+, especially the last few versions.

@Rylock

i didn't say waste time on them by looking through the code (that would be too much even if you were paid for this).

i said "read reports, maybe it'll raise an alarm". there's also the situation of someone with a valid checksum seeing the report and going "hey, that happend to me!". so, let people post, read them, think about it for a second and *then* ignore them. that's my advice. every chance to kill a bug is precious.

Hey guys.

I've been playing as a Zoroastrian and I've successfully created the titular empire of Persia, restored the High Priesthood, the whole nine yards.

My problem lies in the rebuilding of Persepolis event. After spending 1000 gold to rebuild it and waiting 5 years or so, I finally get the message saying the project is complete and the Barony of Persepolis has been built. Instead of a barony the "Ataskada of New Persepolis" is built however. It's a perfectly normal temple with absolutely no improvements. The special feature part of the event chain still worked fine however and I got a +50% to all levies in the province from my decision to build the irrigation system.

I assume this is a bug? It's definitely not worth a thousand gold if not, despite the special feature. I was expecting some ridiculous castle or something of the sort, not an empty temple with a fancy name. Either way I just thought I'd check in.

I'm loving the mod so far though! Haven't spotted anything else remotely wrong with it, great stability and lots of fun features. Keep up the good work!

It would normally also increase the max holding cap in the province from 6 to 7, but it seems the check to prevent you from firing the event until such time as you already had the province filled wasn't working. As such the event would just fill in the already empty spot, instead of granting you an entirely new one. That's been fixed now, thanks for the report.

EDIT: To fix it in your game, open the command window (default ~ key) and type the following in (caps sensitive)
Code:
event GoPagan.207

That might fix it for you

I have the correct checksum (my only modification being using vanilla trade arrow graphics instead), and I'm using the most recent ck2 patch and the ck2+ mod from the steam workshop, fully updated. This is the only mod active, along with every DLC pardon SI.

The Kaiser of the HRE is so over the vassal limit due to the large size of the empire that the vassal levies are literally at 0 (-100.0%), turning what should be the strongest army in the world into a 5k force (the personal demesne). I have heard that vassals may be released by AI over the limit, but this is not occuring. Is all of this WAD?
