So in my game, the Yazidi faith declared itself no longer a heresy. It got control of Persia, which was then conquered by the Mongol Empire. The king of Persia remained Yazidi however, but because the top level liege was Tengri, the baba sheik declared a Great Holy War for Persia. They won, but Persia remained a vassal of the Mongol Empire and the title did not change hands. The old king remained in charge and pretty much nothing happened.

The only way I could look at what's happening with that is with a save prior to the GHW completing -- the crusade CB code hasn't changed in a long time, and it's pretty complex, so I can't even conjecture what's happening without looking at the specifics of who was involved in the war.

I'll see if I still have one of the autosaves from just before the end of the war when I get home from work. I AM playing on the 3.11.3 version of the mod, but I wouldn't have assumed that would be an issue (I started this game on that one and didn't want to break the save). I should probably also mention that I made the Mongols a tributary in the middle of the GHW, because the Yazidis were starting to lose the war and I felt sorry for them, so I invaded the Mongols to wreck their army. So that may have added some additional layers of weirdness on top of it. I'm playing as the Kemetic merchant republic of the Abyssinian Empire, so I wasn't involved in the GHW itself at all.

Well...I suppose I can grab 3.11.3 and install that, in order to check the GHW results. So long as you have the correct checksum for 3.11.3 and haven't changed anything else, it should still be relevant for the current mod version as crusades haven't changed since then. So, yes, if you have that save I can take a look. It sounds like an outlier, but it would be good to see exactly what went on.

I am having trouble creating the sicilian empire title, e_sicily. As I understand, the creation requirements for the empire, which I found in the CK2Plus_titles.txt, are the usual 5 years of ruling, sicilian culture and a realm_size of 150. My character meets all these requirements but I am having no luck in creating the empire, as you can see in the screenshot.
I tried to use the console to change into to the norman culture and the prompt to create the norman empire appeared, but it does not for sicilian. Are there something about the sicilian melting pot events that has to appear before this will happen?View attachment 138612
I know that this does not belong in this thread but dear sir where is that map overlay from ? I have been searching but could not find anything.

I just wonder if this is intended. The running side gains a 10% morale bonus if they did not start the duel at all? They lose morale instead if they run mid-duel.

On another note, my prevented-schism chalcedonian christianity has 38% religious authority due to 43% negative greek-latin conflicts. Is this WAD ? Or do you still need to tweak it ? It is 867 now. Because you would think we me owning Rome, Const, Alexandria and Antioch the conflicts would lower.

EDIT : Do you still want that savegame where a Roman province is about to drift ? Illyricum is 49/50 years.

Depends on which version of the mod you're using. As of the last version, (or whichever version followed the first one where Chalcedonian was added, I forget), the event which adds that MA malus only fires when Chalcedonian MA is over 50%, so it won't ever take MA that low now.

EDIT : Do you still want that savegame where a Roman province is about to drift ? Illyricum is 49/50 years.

If it got there through legitimate play, sure.

After starting a new game with the ck2+ version 4.0.1.1 chalcedonian and iconoclast characters do not have a religion symbol. Is that not yet implemented or is there something wrong with my game?


edit: Could it possibly be VIET+?
edit: Cathar also has no symbol, so it's only Chalcedonian and its heresies.

I have this problem: game with checksum zxpb and all mod versions ( tried 4011, 401, 40, 3113) are lacking arab and indian portraits and there is "noculture" everywhere.

Current Checksum: JQIM (Steam version is YEJZ)

Yep. Does that in vanilla, as well, whenever the religion head is not also a pentarch. Short of trying to mod the interface (which...no), that's simply how it is.

Of course they have religion symbols in the mod. It's likely VIET+ (which has not been updated to the current mod version, I believe) or something else...we can really only deal with issues reported using CK2Plus and nothing else. Go back to the base mod, and if they have religion symbols then, you know what the problem is.

As pointed out above, that is not the correct checksum. Make sure your vanilla checksum and mod checksum match up with the version you're using, and don't use other mods on top of ours (or, if you do, don't complain to us about issues you encounter while doing so), and you should be fine.
