Seems to me you can't change it back because you moved on to true cognatic succession. Makes sense to me. once you have true cognatic it doesn't make sense to be able to reduce the equality laws until you've backed away from that.![]()

Gender Equality rules is "Historical". Happens both when using mods and not. Save file attached for reference

So, i solve the problem by myself.
Go to
\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\CK2Plus\common\cultures
Open
00_cultures.txt
Find
Code:guanche = { # Guanche graphical_cultures = { andalusiangfx } #westerngfx
And change it to
Code:guanche = { # Guanche graphical_cultures = { arabicgfx muslimgfx }
Save and play.
So, now Guanche culture has a proper models from muslim unit pack. Just as Zenati and others cultures from Berber culture group.
The logic is simple — If developers of CK2 place Guanche culture in Berber group, it must have a muslim units. I know, that in reality historians didnt know, where guanches come from. But if you give guanches ability to raid, they must be muslims.
P/S Sorry for my bad english, i'm russian![]()

May I know which file/folder governs this? Its very annoying, would like to look into it/mess with it a bit![]()
I've added a correction there which prevents AI from going full cognatic or enatic unless their liege already has an acceptable law.
Another problem: My Paulician son ended up inheritting another kingdom which I've set for him through marriage before he could inherit my own, and for some reason he ended up converting to Chalcedonian Now that's not the problem itself, what is is that the conversion had resulted in him stopping being my heir! Why did this happen? I had high Crown Authority and infidel free title revocation, could that have something to do with it?
I'm a king, and both kingdoms allow free inheritance. I've tried testing it by playing as him and converting myself with the same result - converting immediately causes him to stop being my heir. Is it really something not specific to CK2+?hm... that could be a vanilla bug. are you king or emperor? what is your out of realm inheritance law?
