Earlier I was posting things on trying to edit some of the mod files to end de jure shifting for duchies, but the crash itself is in the
core module of Ck2+ alone when running it. Vanilla works fine. I have all DLCs right now and it crashes as soon as the loading for a character I selected is at the midpoint.

If I understand you correctly, game crashes after you made changes to de jure assimilation time in defines.lua right?
Do you use Notepad ++ to edit the defines? Please write exactly, step by step how do you edit the de jure assimilation years, it will be easier to help you. I changed de jure shifting few times myself using Notepad ++ and had no problems with it.

Edit: Also just to make sure I need to ask - did you extract mod parts to the correct folder in my documents (or documents) folder? Not in the vanilla game folder? Wrong installation directory will cause crash after selecting character.

And second thing, your previous problem with crash after selecting character, using Hardcore Module could be caused not by your edit, but by Hardcore Module bug. It was fixed lately in dev version (I think in official version also)

Had an issue today that's sort of flummoxed me, so it seems like a bug.

As Basileus, I had usurped the Sultanate of Egypt, and the Duchy of Tunis. In both cases, I could not push de jure claims against the holder, despite the icon up top saying I could. I only took a screen shot of the situation in Egypt, as I just holy-warred for the remaining provinces of Tunis.

I think I had the same issue as Darkonphoto. I had the modules Vanilla Hordes, Hardcore Mode, Flavorful Titular Titles, and Better Armies on. My Mod is located in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod, with vanilla and ck2+ completely up to date, and I was not using any other mod. I reinstalled the mod from the main thread as suggested, but the ctds still happen within two years of restarting my save with

[texturehandler.cpp:181]: Couldn't find texture file: gfx//coats_of_arms//dynasties.tga.
[texturehandler.cpp:181]: Couldn't find texture file: gfx//coats_of_arms//dynasties2.tga.
[texturehandler.cpp:181]: Couldn't find texture file: gfx//coats_of_arms//dynasties3.tga.

as the error message. I found that the lines about the unexpected tokens and the missing aztec stuff aren't causing the crashes and I easily fixed them, which is why they aren't in the error message above. From there I don't know what to do. Anyone know how to fix this?

Nope, I tried it with the mods, then without the mods but with the the CK2+ modules, and finally I tried it twice with only the base game.

It might be the problem of wrong istallation directory of the mod. In Winows systems if mod is installed in the vanilla mod directory game will crash after selecting character (similar problem to yours), so it needs to be installed properly in my documents folder ((C:\Users\[user]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\). Thats for the Window users.

So maybe you got the mod installed in wrong directory. Unfortunately I dont own Mac and have no idea what is the proper directory (or how the installation works) for Mac. Try post your problem on separate thread in CK2Plus subforum, maybe someone who also has Mac (or at least the knowledge how to do it) will be able to help you

I think I had the same issue as Darkonphoto. I had the modules Vanilla Hordes, Hardcore Mode, Flavorful Titular Titles, and Better Armies on. So what you mean is that crash happens after you successfully load the save, 2 years after the load? Does it occur always on the same date? Try to run without Hardcore Module once and see if the crash still appears.

I assume you mean Game Version: 2.03 :)

The de jure assimilation should change even in already saved, existing games, so it's not the problem of game creation before making changes.

Thats most likely because Better Armies and Hardcore Module are conflicting each other (both have defines.lua file)
Check this thread: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...play-Hardcore-Module-AND-Better-Armies-Module

I've posted there how to make those two modules to cooperate. After you make the fix, you can just change the de jure assimilation years only in Hardcore Mode (remember to delete defines.lua from Better Armies module folder), you don't have to change it also in Core CK2+. It should work properly then.

Also, if everything will be fine, make sure that all Hardcore Module features are working - use Holy War CB and see how many years the cooldown has - if its 10 then Hardcore Module is working properly

It happens randomly within two years, most likely after 7 months, but it's the same crash each time. Turning off any of the modules doesn't seem to prevent the crash.

I suspected that, but I can wage De Jure war on the Sultanate of Rum (though in this case they went Tengri, ha!). Am I able to use a de jure CB because the territory is de jure a part of the Byzantine Empire?

I'm running 2.06.03 with only the vanilla horde and hardcore mode disabled. My CK2 is running on the latest version 2.03.

When I started the game and went to the character builder in the singleplayer menu, the list of traits included a second set of traits of the same name but with slightly different age bonuses and stat bonuses that begins after arriving at the traits meant for warrior females.

Is this intended?

I remember that sime time ago people had this problem, I didn't though. What was the problem and how to fix it?

VIET is the problem. There is no CK2+ compatible version of VIET at the moment.

It happens randomly within two years, most likely after 7 months, but it's the same crash each time. Turning off any of the modules doesn't seem to prevent the crash.

1.What is the year / years of the crash? Write the crash date A.D., maybe it's connected to some specific date that causes crash.
2. Have you tried to start another, new game and reached to this date (dates), when the last time you crashed? If so, did you encounter the same crash again?
3. Are you sure you didn't change the game versions (for example downloaded official version, then dev version) between the save and load? That might also cause problems
4. Or maybe something is wrong with the save itself (I don't have the knowledge about save editing or validating)

I suspected that, but I can wage De Jure war on the Sultanate of Rum (though in this case they went Tengri, ha!). Am I able to use a de jure CB because the territory is de jure a part of the Byzantine Empire?

Byzantine Empire de jure CB seems to be specific and possible even against heathens. I don't know if it's WAD though. I'll check it.
