How come muslims are sillyly overpowered?
In which way?
How come muslims are sillyly overpowered?
One problem I can see with that is it's gonna be a major pain to create an empire (CA resetting to autonomous)
Nice work, but could you possibly put the images in spoilers or something?
A question about the new decadence system - doesn't this more or less mean that Muslims, with their multiple wives and endless number of children, are at an inherent advantage over Christians? Since there's no need to land any of your sons, open succession is solely a positive thing, as is having a huge number of heirs to pick from.
No it is not. Borders of duchies and kingdom of Finland are purely ahistorical and dont fit at all on ck2s time period. For example kingdom of Sweden has exatly same borders as modern day Sweden, so that can be an example how ahistorical Finland is.
Hello, gentlemen.
I've recently came back to CK2 after some months of enjoying other titles. I decided to try CK2+ this time and I must say, so far it's been a great improvement over vanilla experience. Great kudos to the devs - it's quite a masterpiece!
Now, a couple of questions --
1. I have noticed that I don't see any empires apart from HRE and Byzantium on an imperial map mode. Is it intended? This thread's title says more empires after all.
2. Last time I played vanilla I reached a conclusion it isn't wise to grant land to vassals from your own dynasty - I don't remember why, but I think it was something about relationship modifiers and AI's eagerness to plot behind your back. Is it still the case in CK2+?
3. Also it wasn't smart to create more king titles than one - you'd get all kinds of revolts and usually at least one of the dukes from another de jure kingdom would want and even demand the crown for himself. Is it still not beneficial to create a new title?
Thanks in advance,
R.
I've been wondering this for some time now, but how do the Mongol hordes decide what religion to convert to when they do convert?
I don't think this is WAD:
Playing as the duchy of Crete, BYZ had an "imperial rebellion" civil war and a few years in, another "imperial rebellion" faction broke away from BYZ.
EDIT: The war ended and the first imperial rebels won. The second rebel faction still exists and is at peace with BYZ.
Thank you. I hate to say this but there is no historic evidence during ck2 period of Finland. Most Northern parts of kingdom of Finland should be excluded from game because society was non-existent or unorganized. Everything north from lake Ladoga should be terra incognita...
But Finlanf is part of known word on ck2 duchies should be modded. Is Wiz intrested at all to improve Finland?
I think I found a bug.
I have agnatic-cognatic elective laws and I can choose a woman (my daughter) as my heir.
I have 3 other sons and 4 daughters.
Something odd happening trying to change electoral law in a titular empire, not sure if a bug in 1.29.1.
My primary title is Danubian Emperor, am also King of Hellas and Nikaea; all of these are Ag-Cog elective. I have the secondary inherited title Spanish Emperor, and a bunch of king vassals in each empire. None have become de iure vassals.
I'd like to change all of these to Primogeniture. I've got heaps of prestige and my vassals love me. I started by changing to Primo for Danubian Emperor. I get the message 'going to vote', but with no vassals shown. Then I get 'Basileus Antiochos voted YES' - I'm the only elector (b/c no de iure king-level vassals? although the dukes vote in normal elections to emperor). However my electoral law doesn't seem to change - it still shows Elective and the current winning candidate as my heir. There is a greyed-out 'change to primo' in the laws tab, showing that I can't change b/c 'already changed succession'.
Is this a vanilla prob?
Something strange happened - during a minor rebellion, French king usurped Duchy of Kent. Right now there are three lords attacking him for Kent, neither of them even having a claim. It would also seem that I can attack him too, also over the same place.
Edit: If this helps, casus belli used is "dejure_duchy_claim".
Hey Wiz, I'm loving this fantastic mod but I recently discovered an issue. In my game Imperial rebels won in the Byzantine Empire and the new Emperor somehow developed a claim for the Imperial Rebel title. Fast forward a couple years and the HRE is in its own civil war and low and behold the Byzantines declare war on the Imperial Rebel title and win.....so now they own massive part of the HRE. Pretty funny to see and Ill try to post pictures later.
the civil war system is really buggy and should just be removed imo as the new dlc is adding a muss less bug prone equivalent due to it not being event based.
How do the "lack of manure hurt farming" events work? My economy is constantly worsening and I don't know why![]()
Any chance you could tone down the sea storm event? Every time I go to war, since I'm based out of Italy, I need to use fleets to organize my troops across my spread out empire. I always get this event, it really can be a gamebreaker.
Somehow, (1.29.2) a muslim woman got to rule Emirate of Harer, which is Agnatic Open. How could it happen? She is a sunni somali woman, who somehow inherited Harer from her father. She is married to the Sunni Caliph (who has 3 other wives too)
Hi Wiz, I just updated the mod to the current version (1.29.2) and my game crashes on startup (my old 1.26.2 runs wihtout problems tho). Deleted all CK2 content and reinstalled CK2, and installed your mod after running the ck2.exe once and it still crashes. ck2 runs fine without your mod tho. I have all the DLC installed too.
