Hi all - I dunno if I'm alone here, but I find myself irrationally annoyed at the original Old Gods west Europe kingdom names, as those temporary titles (West Francia, East Francia, Lotharingia) may well last the whole game. Starting with those titles, then having a system that encourages switching to France, Saxony, etc would be very nice.

Other than that, played for about 30 years, found the game generally quite stable, both in terms of bugs and in terms of major changes on the map, at least relative to vanilla Old Gods and Project Balance.

I think they're supposed to switch to their modern names when a non-Karling holds those titles.

It seems that the Malta Channel isn't traversable, and Malta, Tripoli, and the province between Tripoli and Syrte don't have ports (curiously, a couple more provinces on the Channel have ports).

a few problems, the pagans have warrior cults at the start of the old gods, they really shouldn't, Italy should actually be called Italy because the lombards no longer control it, derp. The persian empire should definately be a de jure empire, considering how long it had existed, the pagans SHOULD NOT be able to holy war. because guess what that is extremely game breaking. der her.

In folks' opinions, is the mod stable enough that if we start playing with it now, we won't have to start over a new game-save with updates in the near future? Just trying to figure out if I should charge in, or if it would pay off to be a little more patient.

I found two Bugs: First: I am not able to start wars agains my neighbours and other coastal counties when I play with Nordern religion.
Secound: I am not able to loot anything without winning a siege against a town/Castle/whatever.

But I really like that mod: Just started to play CKII a few days ago and well... this mod is even better than vanilla. I hope to see a CKIII with all those features somewhen :).

Edit: Oh and there is only a single de jure empire. Is it possible to create other empires with this mod or am I just overseeing something?

Be patient. The Steam beta patch will soon be made official, and it might require a CK2+ update incompatible with the current one. Besides, the CK2+ compatch we do have now has not yet been balanced perfectly.

The fantasy empires have been removed according to CK2+ policy, although the HRE and the Byzantines should be two.

In the 867 start, only the Byzantine Empire is De-jure, and you can create more empires, they are just titular and you have to dejure drift.

In the 867 start the UUU didn't exist, so it shouldn't be de jure...

Edit: To clarify, UUU = Unholy Unroman Unempire
