i was looking forward playing ckplus this week but i guess i'm stuck playing sc2 until he able to patch up, maybe if i get lucky he will have it up and running by the end of the night or let me beta test it : )
You could revert your game in steam if you like, by going to library, right-clicking on your game, going to properties, selecting the beta tab, and choosing revert to 1.9xx level. Looking forward to an updated CK2+. May want to wait for this upcoming patch to come out first though.
If Norse or any other Pagan needs a tweak, it is to make it harder for them to remain unified after the death of the ruler. Maybe have all the vassals revert to independent counties/duchies, requiring the cycle of subjugation to begin anew?
Also, will these fantasy de jure empires be removed again in favor of titular empires, like in pre-1.10? (I mean, Carpathia? Maybe it's because it shares a name with a far-right band, but that just doesn't strike me right.)
I think maybe marriages between religions could be allowed in some small range? I mean at least between different pagans, just like it is possible to arrange marriage between catholics and orthodox, there could be a possibility to do so between romuvas, slavs and soumenskuo, and maybe norse, I dont see the reason why they should be so hostile to each other in this matter.
...wat.Unreformed pagans should all be ok with marrying eachother. And reformed pagans should be fine with marrying unreformed pagan religions that haven't reformed yet.
But reformed pagans and unreformed pagans of all stripes should consider eachother heretics and be incapable of marrying.

Oh, about the 1066 start, there was one problem with CK2+ even before this patch. In the last dozen games I started with 1.33.25, King Harold of Godwin won the war for England every single time. Whatever happened to the English setup, it doesn't seem to work well now, even though it used to be pretty good at one point, with victories going to all three parties every now and then. Now, though, what seems to happen is that Harold kicks Harald's, then William's ass one after the other - strongly aided by the fact that it can raise a significant amount of levies after a period of time to replenish its losses. Once, Harald managed to invite in some Danish allies and while Norway's troops were killed, Denmark cleaned up the British isles. However, with some guerilla warfare, Harold kept retaking holdings and finally mustered enough levies to kick the Danish out of England, and that was that. To sum it up, the Saxons are OP!
