I encountered a strange problem. I have betrothed my brother (he is the heir to my Venician Republic) to the princess of Denmark and the betrothal went fine. However she is now of age but I don't get a marriage event. Instead I get the "unmarried heir" pop up. Is that a Ck+Problem? or what can I do?

I need this alliance badly. Thanks.

You checked that she's still alive, didn't you? And that the betrothal has not been broken by the danish king?

When is a weak/strong claim considered a good enough cassus belli for war? I often see that I can't pursue my claims because it's indicated that I don't have a valid cassus belli, but at other times I can. What determines whether I can or not?

And yet, people do full conversion mods for free?

You need to get a grip on reality.

You seem to have totally misunderstood. The only software you can use to make them costs "5 digits of money" to buy a license to use.

If there's a child or a women on the throne or the claim of the holder is weak, you can use your weak claim. If you are a women I think it's slightly more complicated. There may be other situations, but it's not on the top of my head.

Wiz,
We are talking about 15-20K gold here. How can I banish these traitor ex-landed nobles? All my kinsmen, they have tried their fortunes in rebellion and lost. With a few exceptions, most had 1x county - now that I have taken their titles, they are all prisoner nobles.

Normally I will let them rot in prison but the only problem is they have 300-500 gold each x40 = about 15K gold rotting in my prison.

How can I reclaim this waste? They are traitors, noone will mind, promise.

Please advise as this is giving me headache.

If you revoked their titles, are you still their liege? Generally I've found that nobles whose titles are revoked are assigned a new liege. If you release one, does he/she show up in your court, or someone else's? If they are not in your court 'naturally', then you cannot banish them, you would have had to have done so prior to revoking their titles, and would rightfully have incurred a large tyranny penalty for each banished vassal.

Rebellion gives you the right to revoke their titles, it does not give you the right to confiscate their wealth.

Peculiar. I wonder what is keeping it from triggering properly for me. Perhaps it has something to do with whether you have a Crown Law or not. I typically play as independent Duchies and it's never worked correctly. When I set it people stop asking me for jobs and I have to replace my council upon a new ruler, but nothing stops me from changing my appointments at any time.

Even having a Crown Law in place still allows me to freely change councilors under Lifetime Appointments. Is there a spot in a file somewhere where I can see what possible conditions are preventing this from working properly?

Does CK2+ affect the Bubonic plague?

If so, to what extent and when should I expect it?

Expect it to come around 1320 in the east. It is devastating. -7 health if you get it, which pretty much insta-kills anyone.

Wiz, I have a question. The Greek Cultural building is the Cataprahct building and it gives Heavy Cavalry and Horse Archers. Yet the Greek Cultural Retinue is Heavy Cavalry and Light Cavalry. WAD?

Yeah 1 county traitors should be banishable for less tyranny points

Are you maybe trying to declare war on a vassal? You have to go via their liege unless you're a vassal of the same liege (which is dumb of Paradox, lieges should be able to defend vassals from other vassals)

We are both vassals of the same liege but we have autonomous crown authority, which means we should be able to war on each other. Regardless, I think if it was because of crown law it would show a different reason for not being able to declare war, not the 'invalid cassus belli'. It's frustrating to spend time, money, and prestige to create strong claims which you can't use and not know why you can't use it.

Did CK2+ get rid of plotting for trade posts completely? I thought if you had less trade posts you still could? I'm adjacent and I have less and still no way to get it looks like. Driving me crazy too cuz it's a multiplayer game and as soon as we started they built a trade post in my capital so no matter how many trade posts I get i can't get contiguous bonus ever... Kinda sucks.

Nope, you cant plot for trade posts, but you can declare war for them.

My king of Ghana, African and pagan, just inherited the ERE... and he has to forfeit it because he does not follow orthodoxy? Really???? All those plots + dishonorable points were for nothing???

I think it'd be better if it just caused a civil war or made you a titular King instead. I can understand why they wouldn't want a foreigner on the throne, but the revokation surely wouldn't happen overnight.
