I have declared a Holy War as pagan on Orthodox Duke - and he called in a bunch of other Orthodox Dukes for support. How can I do the same? Or is this option only available for the defenders?
As I understand you may ask other pagans which have same relion as you to join your Holy War via diplomatic mode.

Also, not sure if this is related to this mod or vanilla, but noticed a small issue:

The tooltip to cancel an ambition reads that you will not be able to pick another one for 3 years. Yet when I cancel my ambition - I can pick another one immediately.

Tried that on a couple of other Romuva dukes (I am also Romuva pagan), and there was no diplomatic option to do that.

How do you apply this fix?

Btw what is that 2 GB fix everyone is talking about? Never used it and never had any problems with CK2 or CK2+.
It lets CK2 access more than 2 GB of RAM, which it can need if you're running a demanding mod and the game will sometimes crash without it. These instructions are for EU3, but it works the same way: apply those instructions to ck2.exe in the CK2 root folder. It only works if you have a 64-bit operating system (most people do these days) and enough RAM to take advantage of it, which in practice means at least 4 GB.

I have 32-bit Win 7 (tbh I never heard anyone of my friends using 64-bit coz it's not so stable with games usually) with 4 GB RAM (only 3 GB is really working ofc), so I guess this fix is not needed for me.

Believe me buddy 64-bit Windows = exactly the same stability as 32-bit...
Never saw, read etc anything like that in my entire gaming life...plus you will have more memory for your games... ;)
Also have in mind that all 32-bit client versions of Windows (not just Vista/XP/7) have a 4GB
address space (64-bit versions can use much more). That's the
theoretical upper limit beyond which you can not go.
But you can't use the entire 4GB of address space. Even though you
have a 4GB address space, you can only use *around* 3.1GB of RAM.That's because some of that space is used by hardware and is not available to the operating system and applications. The amount you can use varies, depending on what hardware you have installed, but can
range from as little as 2GB to as much as 3.5GB. It's usually around
3.1GB.

Well, GoT mod is using a 4 gigabyte fix ;)

But I got 16 gig of RAM (was cheaper buy to buy the package of 16 gig than 8 gig at the time) and I'm using about 3 at any given time.

Lies. 64-bit is just as stable a 32-bit installation, if not more.. Maybe they are referring to when Vista first came out, and most who bought computers got a 64-bit O/S and there wasn't any drivers for anything.

64-bit Windows had some issues with driver compatibility a long time ago, but that was back in the XP and early Vista days. There's no reason not to get 64-bit Windows 7 (or 8, YMMV) today.

I have a copy of Win 7 64-bit system aswell (Win 7 Ultimate full pack owner hehe) but really see no need to reinstall something to just play CK2 lol. I've spent more than 40 hours in CK2/CK2+ and never had a single CTD or something

Because you would prefer your games to run smoother??? ;)
Most gamers suggest faster memory than more memory others the opposite...it is debatable...
Anyway many games take advantage of RAM'S speed and other of RAM'S size...the must have is 4 giga minimum...cause no game uses more than that...but 8 giga is cheap as hell right now so take advantage of it...
Also you will gain 4-5fps(game depended value) with a faster memory and with a low CL value...

Will applying the fix increase the speed?

EDIT: Also if we have STEAM will it make VAC ban us?

The fix wont work for you. You only have a 32-bit OS which can only, at max, put 2 GB towards a game even with LAA enabled. The only exception is if you use the /3GB switch which is NOT recommended because it makes the system unstable.

64-bit Windows had some issues with driver compatibility a long time ago, but that was back in the XP and early Vista days. There's no reason not to get 64-bit Windows 7 (or 8, YMMV) today.

Not necessarily true. I made the jump to 64-bit only a few years ago and I had to buy a new NIC because my old NICs had no 64-bit drivers whatsoever. I also had to get rid of my Audigy 2 because the 64-bit drivers would not get along with my stalker games at all. If you have some legacy hardware in your computer you might have to replace them.

However, the only way I would recommend going 64-bit is if you have 5-6 gigs of physical RAM. 4 or less gigs is problematic because, yes, 64-bit windows can use a lot more RAM, but it also eats a lot more RAM. When I moved to 64-bit Win 7 it ate roughly twice as much RAM as my old 32-bit Windows XP. Going from ~600 mb idle to 1.4 gb idle is a big jump, and thats with trimming down my OS. The average person's Windows 7 64-bit uses about 2 gigs.

The fix wont work for you. You only have a 32-bit OS which can only, at max, put 2 GB towards a game even with LAA enabled. The only exception is if you use the /3GB switch which is NOT recommended because it makes the system unstable.

Agreed...

Never heard such an issue before...Maybe it was something else the problem??? also you have said it was years ago...so not an issue now probably...

Going from ~600 mb idle to 1.2 gb idle is a big jump, and thats with trimming down my OS. The average person's Windows 7 64-bit uses about 2 gigs.

That's why gamers and companies, vendor etc advise people to buy 8 giga bundles with a new p.c our days...cheaper, more ram for use, less stress for your work...
