Playing as the Frankish Empire and King of Aragon, with the King of Castille/Everything Else Spain to my south. Had a revolt headed by the Duke of Valencia, which the King of Castille joined in. After winning the war, the Spanish king is now my vassal! Owning Iberia in one stroke!

Heresies really need a nerf. Second game and while the heresies were not as bad as they were in my first game, they still eventually took over some countries. Poland got taken over by the Waldens, the Byzantine empire got taken over by Iconoclasts, and the Abyssinians got taken over by Monophysite. France and Scotland also got a lot of Heresy but so far none of their leaders have it. I even had my own heretic problem, and even with chaplains with 20+ Learning it was very difficult stamping out the heresies. One had even managed to spread to three of my provinces before my Chaplain was able to convert it, and he had 22 learning.

Also had some really strange culture conversions. My last game I was a Hungarian ruler of Flanders (I wanted Horse Archers), and I was never able to spread my culture to within those provinces. However, this game I am a Khazar ruler, and within the first 50 years my capital converts to Khazar, and the rest of my Demense was not far behind it.

Does the immortal trait still work in the latest versions?

I tried starting a game as an immortal count, but I died at the age of 84. Is the latest version still plagued by this problem?

Yes. The unofficial fix is not working, the only way to fix it is to write your own event that gives you the immortal trait, and do not pick the immortal trait in character designer.

I tried making a Plunder casus belli before. In all my test runs, the AI really likes to spam it while ignoring claim or holy wars. After the plunder truce expires, it immediately goes for plunder CB again.

Yep, this is the issue. It doesn't work with the AI.

I'm not seeing this at all. Heresy is supposed to behave somewhat randomly, so maybe you just had a bad couple games?

How do I get people to join my faction? I've been leading a Separatist faction for ages now with my HRE character and it seems that for decades nobody's even considered joining. The Emperor isn't all that popular either. Still, nobody wants to separate, and apparently the spymaster's "Scheme" option doesn't do it anymore. What does, then?

You could put a time limit on it, like "can only be used every 5 or 10 years" or something though, couldn't you?

And what about the suggestion for it only being available to vassals? That is, a Duke or Count whose territory borders that of a different religion could use it against the neighbouring Duke or Count, without the two kingdoms going to full scale war. It would certainly be realistic, because raiding was really common along many inter-religious borders.

Is it normal that kings cannot swear fealty to Emperors?

I'm not seeing this at all. Heresy is supposed to behave somewhat randomly, so maybe you just had a bad couple games?

The Heresies are coming randomly, the problem seems to be that the heresies subvert the top ranks (King, emperor) a bit too easily, on top of the fact that the AI's response vs Heresies is nonexistant. I noticed Christian countries will jump all over an excommunicated ruler, but aside from maybe one holy war will tend to ignore heretics.

Same game, now my liege has gone heretic. Oh well, once my provinces go De Jure, I plan on waging a war of independance.

If the player is a vassal are they supposed to not be able to create factions such as the Princley faction, I thought that with the faction leader now able to take the throne if the ruler is child would make for a more fun ERE game but apperently not :(.

More fixes and things.

1.32.26:
- Forming the Latin Empire now only requires Constantinople, but the title will be lost if the holder loses Constantinople.
- Characters who are released from prison due to being blinded or castrated should now automatically be pardoned of any righteous imprisonment causes.
- Illness and Pneumonia can now develop into blindness.
- Raised the base health of characters but increased the health penalties of illnesses, to try and cut down on early natural deaths.
- Added two new optional modules, 'No De Jure Drift' which turns off de jure drift and 'No Drift & No Assaults' which turns off both de jure drift and assaults. You should only use one of the 'No X' modules at any given time.
- A failed murder or kidnapping attempt that aborts the plot will now make that character immune to the same kind of plot for five years.
- Ruler designer Immortal trait should now work correctly.

I was playing has king of england yesterday and my spymaster discoverd a plot against me to overthrow me, and managed to imprison her but i could't execute her, whiutout getting tyrantsy. Still it was high treason it would be cool and realistic to add to the game and it would balance power between King and Duke/Earls, kings where not thought beeing tyrants if the executed some for treason. Is it possiable?

If there were a simple mod to slow down the ship speeds to a more reasonable speed, would it affect the AI of anything in CK2+?

You can't change ship speeds. Changing movement speed on ocean doesn't work (believe me, I've tried).

Also, I play CK2+ when I want a change from the heavy blobbing of Vanilla. CK2+, however, seems to think the cure to that is massive amounts of fracturing. It's nearly 1080 and France and the HRE have totally fallen apart, and show no signs of reforming. This is a silly solution.

Separatism is a work in progress. Are you sure that it's not just a fluke game though? In my current game it's 1250 with plenty of blobbing (I'm Livonia).

Perhaps. Granted it is just 1080 in this new version. I guess I'll play wait and see. I felt like CK2+ was in a good place some time ago. I suppose the change to plots/factions has shifted the earth somewhat.

Edit: AI Kingdoms can reform, yes? Meaning if an AI vassal is a de jure vassal of a given liege they will be compelled to rejoin with that liege eventually, yes?

Double Edit: Part of the problem seems to be the starting set up in 1066. Henry the Old, Duke of Burgundy, makes France very unstable due to his claim on the throne in 1066. And Kaiser Heinrich IV often gets excommunicated early in the game, making an HRE implosion a fait accompli.

Also, the "Dying on Abdicating" bug still exists.
