I don't know if this problem was just mentioned before... I play the German Game, perhaps thats important... If is start the Game with your Mod, nearly all ingame text is wrong. Where 'Singelplayer' should be written, its Multiplayer; Instead of Quit Game there is a sentence about Barons having problems with... Characters like the count of Innsbruck in Bavaria is shown as english and orthodox... Are there some issues with files in the localisation folder? Please sry for my English!

Try to change the language to English (I think you can do that trough Steam), if the mod works in English... Then.. Then it really is a problem with the German translation. xD

yes youe were right... damn, asked for such a simple solution... but now the game is totaly in english... are there translations planned?

One quick nitpick, though it's probably vanilla related. For some reason my first son stopped being my heir and that title passed on to my second son. I wouldn't complain generally, but my eldest son is strong and quick and is turning out great, and my second one is a hunchback... Here are the screenshots:

As you can see my heir is my second son, bot are still minors:

Any ideas what's going on? I'm using the latest version of CK2Plus?

Had something alike happen. Made my female heir (agnatic cognatic) a vassal and was surprised as she was then out of the inheritence. Her infant brother took over untill a few months later she suddenly became heir again. No idea what happened.

Mod is playing quite well, especially in Sicily and Spain and even pretty well in the pagan north. My biggest concern is the ERE still seems super dominate, even if it collapses from time to time. I love watching it reform, but in the end it still seems to conquer every non christian province.

Culture is much better, though the ERE seems to be pretty good at converting their territory Greek over time.

I do play on VH. Will this cause any balance issues?

How playable are the Muslims? I guess I mean the Turks for the purpose of pushing the ERE back, then switching to a Christian power.

Edit: I think you meant to have an event, so that if the Turks won the first war, they gained most of Anatolia. They won this war, but only gained up to Anatolia. -
Trying to use "observe" in 1216 causes a repeatable CTD. I am a little tired of playing and wanted to see if the Mongols would act differently than before. They've been announced twice, but no troops yet.

Is it just me being wrong, or is the Gavelkind demesne size bonus not applying?

My current rule is AC Gavelkind. I have 1 for Base, Base*2 for being an Earl, and +1 from Stewardship. 4 total. Nothing mentioned for gavelkind.

EDIT: Well, reinstalling the mod a second time seemed to fix it. Disregard. >.>

Some Muslims (with their Turk Succesion Law) can be hard to play, specially if your "realm" is big from the start.

Event 190020 caused a CTD 100% of the time after I aquired Rome from the Pope. The only fix I could muster for this was to simply remove the event entirely from the mod (this however causes a much more minor issue of the papacy still reigning in Rome making it impossible for me to acquire the last of the pope's lands as going to his diplomacy he is treated as being my vassal without land).

The event name is displayed as the event text, and the options are displayed as something along the lines of EVTDDESC190020OPTA etc. I believe one of the options said it would give me -50% fertility before it crashes (never applied it though)

Running Ck2plus core and heradly on the steam version (got a buddy of mine to try it on his gamersgate version though, same issue)

I got this too. If you click really fast on one of the options (I think they are the same) the game doesn't crash.

I'm that buddy, and I even tried running the game as single plaayer, but the event would pop up game would crash, after looking at the event in 'wizevents', event id 190020, it seems like it was suppose to give back the county of Rome to the Pope, but the game seems to be confusing it with something that gives you negative fertility of sorts.

Also, tweaking the Civil War trigger modifer to -10 is more manageable and still creates problems on succession but doesn't neccessarily spell doom to an average diplomatic ruler upon his ascension to the throne.

I will try more games with that tweaka, but so far it strikes more manageable balance and the not de jure vassals are still the most unruly leading to the Italian breaking off early game, and then a matter of angry Germans as the successions in the HRE progress.

Byzantines seem a bit more stable, but they aren't going anywhere fast, and the Seljuks seem to be okay... although they tend to collapse with Alps Arslan dies.

So far, liking the mod, keep it up!

I am having a blast in 1117 thus far. But I noticed twice that somebody has bugged me that they would be better counsel member. But they do not have the stats for it. One was a 10 Chancellor who wanted my guy's job, he was a 13 Chancellor. Another person, one of my sisters wanted my 13 Spymaster sister job when she was a 12.

Some Muslims (with their Turk Succesion Law) can be hard to play, specially if your "realm" is big from the start.

I think it causes the AI some trouble too ;) I started my new game in 1087 when Turks control all of Anatolia. The remainder of the ERE has split in half due to a civil war, and it still has reclaimed half of Anatolia.The resiliency of the ERE is truly amazing, which I think is historical. Down but not out.

I wonder what happened historically when the the Romans tried to take advantages of Turkish succession crises. It might be useful for game play purposes if they united, at least temporarily. Or maybe 50/50 odds they will unite.

I've played Lombardy again and left the HRE my rulers keep on getting maimed in battle. Now that it has stabilized, and I am thinking of rejoining as not being a kingdom means most kingdoms don't want to deal diplomatically with me (want better alliances). Paradox really has a gem here. Thanks for polishing it Wiz!

- Holy Wars restricted to neighbours, so that Muslims do not always own Sardinia and France does not always own Gibraltar. Crusades/Jihads are not affected by this.

I want to use this for my game, but can't seem to find witch files that change this? anyone know? I'm so tired of England/France/HRE owning all of Spain.

Happened in my game too. They got 100% war score against the realm they appeared in, but for some reason never made peace and just sat there the rest of the game with all counties occupied.

Found a bug with the Mongols that prevents them from winning wars. Fixed next version.

Event 190020 caused a CTD 100% of the time after I aquired Rome from the Pope. The only fix I could muster for this was to simply remove the event entirely from the mod (this however causes a much more minor issue of the papacy still reigning in Rome making it impossible for me to acquire the last of the pope's lands as going to his diplomacy he is treated as being my vassal without land).

The event name is displayed as the event text, and the options are displayed as something along the lines of EVTDDESC190020OPTA etc. I believe one of the options said it would give me -50% fertility before it crashes (never applied it though)

Running Ck2plus core and heradly on the steam version (got a buddy of mine to try it on his gamersgate version though, same issue)

Found the issue. Fixed next version.

I've got a quick question regarding the inherited genetic traits.

Simply, does it work? I've been using the version from this mod as well as another. I've got some traits as high as 40% per parent and I just don't ever seem to see traits inherited even when the two carefully selected parents produce a litter of 10+ kids.
