So I've been playing this mod since 0.25, and it's been great. Although I love the new version (0.31) especially the assassin nerf, I've been having problems with pressing claims.
So in Vanilla, you could invite ANYBODY to you court and push a claim, and essentially you can expand mega-fast this way if you have a large military. I like how you need to get your kin on the wait-list before this works now, more realistic. However, few I've been marrying my peeps to claimants like crazy, and for some reason, they DONT INHERIT THE CLAIM (even though it says it is inheritable). My question is, is this a bug, or is there a special circumstance for claims to be inherited?
More specifically, matril marriage of my female kinsmen to tile holders - no kid gets the claim after the dad dies.
Reg marriage of male kinsmen to claimants - no kid gets claim after mom dies.
Reg marriage of ME OR MY KIDS to female claimants - inherited claim.
This is frustrating as the claims take careful planning and span a generation. I tried replaying my game a few times already to see if it was a one-time thing, or if i tried to not invite them and just set-up the marriage abroad. No dice.
So I'm not sure if it's a bug, or if it's intended, but can someone help me get around this issue? I don't like having to fabricate my way to be the dutch king of Ireland
