Possible bug.

My capital is Palermo, playing as Apulia. Two Norman Catholic courtiers had a son of Mahgreb Arab culture.

Not a bug, children will sometimes take the culture of their province.

I suspected that was the case. Odd that he should also take on the genetics though - Dark skin, hair, eyes.

Graphical culture works in a really weird way in CK2 and there's not really anything I can do about it.

Current game.

Robert Guiscard duke of Apulia spends his life strugling for supremacy among the counts of Southern Italy. His son Bohemond finishes the conquest of Sicily and prepares for kingship but 1st Crusade for Jerusalem called. Fights for 5 years in Holy Land and is victorious. Grants KOJ to relative. Returns home wounded, with a fever. Gets off the boat and is proclaimed King of Sicily on the very shore. Triumphal party is ambushed days later by rebel bandits and the King is killed not one week after setting foot in his Kingdom. Son inherits at 15.

1.06 hotfix 1 has CTD issues, here is hotfix 2 with a fix.

If you are playing a save made before this hotfix, load up your save, make a new save, then quit and play from that save. Otherwise you will keep crashing.

I don't have a repeatable crash, but I have frequent crashes with this mod. So frequent that it's neigh unplayable. Should I still bundle a save over and send?

Hey wiz, I am planning on making an extra titular kingdoms mod (that will be compatible with CK2+). May I use your landed_titles.txt and gfx folder for this? (of course giving you credit). Additionally, the localisation file that goes with it (which one is it for the new landed titles you put in?)

Try making a new save before you crash and then playing from that save.

Yes, go for it. All my title localisations are kept in 0_titles.csv.

Those events are definitely localised... did you install the localisation correctly?

I think so. But I will make a clean install (of CKPlus) to see if it happens again.

Is anyone else not getting notified when crusades/jihads start? The popups for victorious jihad/failed crusade/Mongol horde events seem to work as normal, but in my current game I never see the actual crusade event pop-up, I just have to notice the banner in the corner to know when a crusade is on.

Ir's an old save I've taken through three mod patches, so maybe I should just restart, but I'm curious if this is happening to anyone else.

Dynastic COAs or title shields? Did you delete the old version before installing?

my crusades notification stopped when patch 1.05 hit ( thats 1.05 for ck2 not the mod) been looking for message settings since to have it pop up again so far havent had any luck
