Wiz: You're right, it isn't happening only to my directly-controlled baronies. But I want, for example, to restore Patriarchate of Jerusalem (b_jerusalem, which can't be controlled directly if I want to create patriarch) without conquering whole kingdom of Jerusalem or its capital county. So I'd rather turn whole thing off. Could you please tell me where? Thanks, H2SO4.

Wiz, do you by any chance have something like an SVN or GIT set-up for storing mod files? Taking into account that you're going to stop supporting the mod in some point in future it'd be good to have not only codebase for mod files, but also history of changes. This way we could investigate how exactly did you fix that CTD bug for example and avoid it in our soon-to-be forks/future versions of mod.

Yeah, on sourceforge. I'd be fine with opening it up.

Okay I'm getting a really weird bug in every single game I've run since 1.091 with this mod where the golden horde and Ilkhanate cease to exist the moment they invade? They both capture one or two counties, or a duchy. Then about a month later, the title is destroyed for both of them? It's really frustrating.

As an example, the Ilkhanate captures Persian duchy x, 2 months later Ilkhanate title destroys itself and the khan is now high chief of duchy x?

Are you playing with another mod of any kind?

As the OP says, because a mod is listed as compatible doesn't mean its properly integrated. Generally if you're having issues the first thing you should try is disabling submods.

Yeah, nerfing the embargo war seems to have done nothing as a vast majority of the embargo war spam comes from requests from other republics.

I can't do anything about this from the mod side.

The THRESHOLD_FOR_NO/THRESHOLD_FOR_YES is not used at all, so that doesn't help. I guess you could add a cost to it but I have a feeling it'll be addressed next patch.

1.33.12:
- Fixed some bad triggers in leadership trait battle events.
- Restored vanilla rebel system because of some issues with the recent patch and Better Rebels. Revolt risk effects were reduced across the board and the large size of rebel armies kept, so revolts should be rare but potentially dangerous.
- Added back the Outremer melting pot, with tighter conditions to prevent the culture from spreading to Europe.
- Fixed some AI problems that were causing Muslim realms to be more unstable than they should be.
- Fixed a bug where the Golden Horde/Il-Khanate titles were formable by the Cumans.
- When succeeding with or aborting a plot, there is now a general cooldown of five years to attempt that plot again.
- A plot being revealed by blackmail or a drunken backer will now result in the plot being cancelled.
- The fabricate treason plot should now work correctly for characters trying to incriminate their vassals.
- Fixed several minor bugs with the new demesne laws.
- If Jerusalem is held by a Catholic ruler, the Knights Templar and Knights of St. John will now become vassals of the King of Jerusalem.
- Restored events for Knights Templar and Knights of St. John to build castles.
- Player and player's vassals should now never be affected by automatic transfer of baronies to province owner.
- Vassals of an entire different religion or culture group will no longer join the regular factions. Instead, they will tend to form Separatist factions or back Pretenders of their own culture and religion. They may still join in a revolt that benefits them on an individual basis.

The kingdom of Trebizond is not de jure part of Byzantium Empire at start.
I think Trebizond kingdom should be de jure territory of Byzantium Empire.

It's to encourage its independence if the Seljuks cut it off from the rest of Byzantium.

I'm kind of disappointed with how feudal revolts are playing out with factions now. A one-county count can start a revolt and multiple factions can join that revolt as allies, but at the end of it all, if you beat the revolt down, only the instigator gets imprisoned. It doesn't seem to align with what would REALLY happen and what the original design was. In fact, this lends itself to continued revolts and the gradual weakening of the crown. Why do I not get to automatically imprison the enemies I just defeated? Or, at the very least, why do I not get free cause to imprison them without tyranny?

The mod is overall superb and adds a lot to the game, but I wanted to share my two cents on revolts.

Bug.

Sad to say: I'm still getting CTD's with late starts. I'm running CKII+ baseline and No Assaults, along with BLC and BLC compat patch. The last two work fine at other dates, though, and I can't think of a reason that would only cause them to fail at late dates.

BLC mucks with character histories so it could definitely cause crashes at later dates. What dates are you crashing?

Need to know if I have a problem: I was King of Jerusalem when I updated CK2+. Both these orders existed before the update and have not become my vassals. Any tweaks I could do to get them in as my vassals? Or any other advice? Thanks.

How long have you waited? It should happen by itself within a year or so.

Whoops. How bad would it be if I just put "liege = k_jerusalem" in both sections myself? Will that screw anything up too badly?

after most recent update my vassal levies have gone haywire...playing byzantium and my vassal levies have gone from around 32k to 160k...im getting 100% of them now and im not full crown auth nor crown levees...getting events coming up all the time now saying vassal levies are on then off...

Could you show me these events? Are you playing with any other mods?

Hi Wiz

Did you use a particular mod for the recolouring of the provinces (political view) or was that your own doing?
Is there a way to take only this? I can't run your great mod right now (using a low end pc) but I like the flavour of the provinces..

I manually did it in the title files, wouldn't really work to just detach the ptitles files unfortunately. You could use only histories and titles I guess, I can't think of any issues with it but that's not to say there's none.

In the newest version I became King of Jerusalem before the holy orders were founded, after several years they never became vassals and I formed the Outremer Empire, how long should it have taken for them to become vassals and will it still happen since I'm still king of KoJ but also Emperor of Outremer?

It seems like something is breaking then, it shouldnt take longer than a year. It will happen as long as you hold KoJ, doesn't have to be your primary.

I think he means the notifications which tell you that a modifier is in effect or has expired. I'm having the same issues with vassal levies while using no other mods.

Could you show me a screenshot or two of what exactly is going on? I'm quite puzzled by this.

The levy modifier of the AI realms as well as my own keep cycling between what I assume it should be based on the number of holdings we have, and 100%. For me I get the notification of "vassal levies is no longer affecting us/vassal levies happened to us" that occurs whenever the modifier changes, but instead of changing because my realm increased/decreased in size it just randomly alternates between the normal modifier and 100%.

Weird. Will look into it for sure.

Fix for a bad bug with levies.

1.33.13:
- Fixed a bug that was playing haywire with the vassal levies modifier.
- Tweaked the way CA levies work. Higher CA now gives less maximum levies, but also gives a bonus to minimum levies so you can always raise the levies allowed by your CA.
- A pretender to a secondary title will now only take that title, rather than all primary level titles. Pretenders to the primary title will still take all primary level titles.
- A rebel commander who takes over a province is now immune to being declared war on for 10 years.
