CK2 Won't Launch

Hi guys.

Sorry if this is a known problem with an easy fix (if so a link would be helpful).

Basically I had to do a fresh installation of Windows 7, I then updated all the appropriate drivers over the course of two days, have now downloaded steam, did a fresh install of CK2 and what happens is when I click launch game I get a black box saying 'preparing to launch Crusader Kings' and then absolutely nothing.

I have tried validating the game and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Any ideas on what to do?

Fixed the problem myself based off of a solution to a similar problem from a year ago.

For anyone experiencing similar problems, go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\DX

And scroll down to the file named DXSETUP and run it.

That should fix the problem straight away.
