[CK2 Vanilla 1.05g] Technology only advances during Jan 8 to Feb 8

During a one-month period right at the beginning of the year, I see a steady stream of tech advances in various counties (usually one advance of 0.1 every 2-3 days). In the rest of the year, I see 0 advances. Have played at least 40 years since I noticed this, and have never seen a 0.1 tech advance any time in March through December. I have 10 counties in desmense and “behind” bonuses in a number of them, so the odds of this happening randomly for 40 years seem extremely low.

Suppose this could be WAD and the programmers decided to compress all tech advances into one month, but have not seen this mentioned on forums, in manual, in game guides, or in the patch notes that I can find.

Can provide a save game if needed, but guessing someone has a quick answer to this question.

I have now played 40 more years. The issue/bug noted before has continued for all my prior holdings (all counties were in Ireland). Still have seen zero tech advances outside of Jan-Feb.

We now have a new twist. I took the county of Barcelona about 10 years ago. In this county, August is the "magic month" with regards to tech advancements. Barcelona sees tech advances every August, and zero tech advances otherwise.

Surely I am not the only person seeing this and wondering about it?

Similar thing in all my games with the g patch, advances occur in England all at once each year.

Edit: advances occur in Navarra similarly but at a different time of year.

I have notified the devs of it and we will look into it, but don't expect something to change during the night since it's hardly a gamebreaking issue. But thank you for pointing it out nonetheless!
